Jimin was laughing, running around with the ball, enjoying the warm weather. He was trying to show off for Jungkook, but as usual, he tripped over his own feet.

He fell hard onto the ground, his head hitting the pavement. A sharp pain shot through his skull.

"Shit, Jimin!" Jungkook yelled, running over to him, panic in his eyes. He knelt down beside him, quickly checking for any blood. "Are you okay? Speak to me."

Jimin groaned, his vision blurry. "Ugh... my head," he mumbled, holding his forehead. "Feels like I've been hit by a truck."

Jungkook cursed under his breath. "You really are a damn mess, Jimin," he muttered, but it wasn't with anger ...just concern. He gently helped Jimin sit up, still holding him to make sure he didn't fall again. "You're alright, don't worry."

Jimin shook his head, trying to clear the fog in his mind. "What... what happened? I don't even remember."

"You hit your head," Jungkook said, rubbing his own forehead. "But... there's something else."

Jimin looked up at him, confused. "What do you mean, something else?"

Jungkook took a deep breath, hesitating. He reached for his phone, unlocking it, and pulled up a picture of the two of them. It was from their anniversary. Jimin was smiling, holding the necklace Jungkook had given him. They looked happy, in love.

Jimin stared at the photo, a confused look on his face. "I... I don't remember this," he said quietly. "Why... why don't I remember?"

Jungkook felt his heart tighten. He had known this might happen, but it still hurt. "This was our anniversary, Jimin. We spent the whole day together. It was the day I gave you that necklace."

Jimin blinked a few times, trying to make sense of it. "Anniversary...?" He frowned. "But I... I don't remember us celebrating."

Jungkook leaned in closer, his voice soft but serious. "You promised me, Jimin. You promised that no matter what, we'd always remember each other. That we'd always stay together."

Jimin's heart skipped a beat as he tried to push through the fog in his mind. "I... I don't remember. I'm sorry, Kook."

Jungkook sighed, rubbing his hand through his hair. "Don't apologize. You took a hit to the head. I get it."

Jimin felt guilty. "But it was important, right? I... I should remember."

"Yeah," Jungkook said with a small smile. "It was important to me. But you don't have to remember it all right now. What matters is that I'm here, and I'll remind you whenever you forget."

Jimin's chest felt tight as he looked at the photo again. Slowly, things started to come back. "I... I remember the necklace now. You gave it to me, and we kissed..."

Jungkook's smile grew, a little relieved. "Yeah, we kissed. We made a promise. That no matter what, we'd never forget each other. Even if you forget, I'll be here to remind you."

Jimin's eyes filled with emotion as he looked up at Jungkook. "I'm so sorry, Kook. I feel like such a mess."

Jungkook shook his head, his thumb gently brushing Jimin's cheek. "Stop. You're not a mess. You're just... you. And I love you. Even when you're forgetful and clumsy."

Jimin felt a warmth spread through him. He reached up, cupping Jungkook's face with his hand. "I love you too. I'm sorry for being an idiot."

Jungkook chuckled softly, pressing a kiss to Jimin's forehead. "You're not an idiot, Jimin. You just needed a little reminder. And I'll keep reminding you, over and over again."

Jimin smiled, feeling the heaviness in his chest lift. "I'm glad you're here. Even if I forget again, I know you'll always be there."

Jungkook pulled Jimin into a tight hug. "Always, Jimin. No matter what. You're my idiot, and I'll never let you go."

Jimin closed his eyes, letting himself relax in Jungkook's arms. "I'll remember, Kook. I promise."

Jungkook kissed the top of his head. "I know you will. But even if you don't... I'm right here."
