Luke's POV:
"Mia? What is this?" I ask, somewhat jealous. I don't know why I would be jealous, I mean I dont actually like her.

Mia slowly turns around, sees me, then pauses the movie. Mean Girls.

"Luke. It's not what you might think." She nudges herself out of the guy's grasp. He turns around and glares at me. Who is this kid?

"Really? It's not? 'Cuz it looks exactly like what I think." I say, calmly.

"Luke, this is Pierre. Pierre, Luke. Luke, Pierre is our cook. He went to get me skittles and Starbucks so I invited him to watch Mean Girls with me."

"Why didn't you invite me?" I ask.

"I thought you were sleeping."

Ok, that's fair.

"Can I watch the rest with you?" I ask. She lets out a huge breath. "Of course, Luke!"

I sit next to her and do that cheesy arm thing that the cliché guys do in the movies.

Pierre shoots another glare at me, then turns to the movie. It is a funny movie. I've never really sat down to watch it, but now I'm glad I did.

Oddly, I'm also glad that I was with Mia. She made me happy and confident.

Woah. Snap out of it Luke. You're here for a dare, not to actually fall in love. Seems like Ash thinks differently, he's been staring at Grace every minute they're together.

Mia's POV:

Gosh, I thought that Luke would be really mad, but then he asked to watch with us, Pierre was pretty cool about it too.

We were all calm until we went onto normal cable TV. 

The announcers voice went "AND NOW... From the creators of Amnesia..."-this is where I freak out and call Grace frantically-"This Summer, join us for the new show..."-Grace runs into the room and throws herself in between Pierre and I-"Side of Fries!" 

Grace and I cheer and jump up as the trailer plays. It seems to be about a larger (😂) girl who is shunned at school, who always asks for 'A Side of Fries', and the skinny girl who has the same intentions, but she isn't shunned at school.

"Seems weird. I like it." Luke says.

I smile at him and he smiles back. Great, the butterflies are back.

The announcer guy also said that they don't have a big enough cast. They still haven't cast the roles of Tracy, the larger girl, Lilah, her mother, Chloe, the mean girl, Shannon and Marissa, Chloe's BFFLFL's,  or Maira, the skinny girl. 

"They are so not put together." I say, looking at Grace. She pulls a funny face and I laugh. 

I zone out a little until I hear Grace scream, "OPEN AUDITIONS?????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???" I jump up and look at the paused movie screen. 'Open Auditions,' it reads, 'Join us May 15th, 2015, for open auditions to get onto the new show, 'Side of Fries'.'

"Oh my gosh!!!" I scream.

"WE COULD MEET ALEXIS HOLDEN!!" Grace says. 

"WE HAVE TO GO TO AUDITIONS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE????" I plea to Luke. He shrugs, thinks for a second, then nods.

I can't wait.
