PREVIOUSLY:

"What do you mean?" My eyes finally adjust to the darkness and I can barely make out Jay in the darkness.

He's wearing a yellow button down shirt with blue jeans and Converse, along with the signature gay-boy white scarf.

Of course.

He's gay.

-

Luke's POV:

"You've been checking me out, pretty boy." Jay says, almost menacingly.

"Um, ah. No, uhm, no I haven't."

"Yeah, you have. Don't worry, I like guys too, maybe we could go somewhere, like a date? Movies maybe?" I feel his hot breath across my face.

All to quickly, his lips were on mine. My eyes go wide as he grabs my shoulders and continues to kiss me.

God, this is weird.

I flip him around and force him to let me go.

"Ah, a forceful one eh?" Jay speaks after a minute.

"Shut up. I'm dating someone."

"He doesn't have to know."

"Let me be more specific; I have a girlfriend."

Jay looks taken aback as I turn on my heel and walk away, my thoughts of going to the bathroom way gone by now.

As I turn the corner I decide to call the one person who could make me laugh about this.

Rowan.

I dail her number from memory and press call.

"Hello?" Just her voice releases some of the tension. I'm so glad she answered.

"Hey Row, it's me, Luke."

"Luke! Hi, how are you, what's up?"

"I'm, well, I'm okay. I'm at that audition I told you about. There's this guy here, his name is Jay, and he, um, well, see Row..." I don't know why I feel so guilty, she knows I love her and it's not like I kissed him first or kissed him back.

"Luke, what's going on?"

"See, Jay is apparently, um, gay, and he kinda sorta kissed me."

Rowan is silent.

"Row?"

"Uhm, Luke, I don't know if this is the right time to mention this but I was actually going to call you later..."

"Row?" I repeat, more nervous this time."

She laughs nervously and says, "It's, like, really ironic with your situation..."

"Rowan, what is it?" I mentally brace myself for the worst.

"I, um, yesterday, I, um, came out to my parents."

What. The. Heck.

"You're... Row?... Is this a... So, you're breaking up with me."

"I swear, I only just realized this. I hope we can still be friends, but I, um, like girls."

This time it's me who stays silent.

"Okay. Okay, Row, yeah, we can be friends. I should go, bye." I quickly say and hang up.

Many unexpected, seemingly cliché things happened today.

Mia's POV:

"What's taking Luke so long?" I impatiently ask aloud, even though no one else is in the room. They had them all go to audition, and I'm here, waiting for Luke. Jay went out after Luke, yet he got to audition.

I lean back against the chair and close my eyes.

"You tired?" I hear Luke whisper. I shoot up from my position and say, "Luke! Where have you been?"

"Funny story actually. Jay is gay and thought I was gay as well. Long story short, he kissed me, then I called Row."

My face visibly sinks at the mention of Rowan.

"Oh, cool, how is Rowan."

Luke smiles and says, "Mia, she just came out to me."

"What the heck, that's so cliché. Now you're going to tell me that you're gay as well."

"Nope. I'm like 99.9 percent sure that I like girls."

"Same."

Luke looks at me and bursts out laughing.

"I mean like same, but with boys. You know."

"Okay Mia. Okay."
