Rain sat in his secret home, the familiar walls echoing with memories of laughter and shared dreams with Jason.
The weight of his emotions felt heavier than ever, and he allowed himself to cry freely, releasing the pent-up pain that had been building inside him.
He knew he had to find a way to move forward, to reclaim his happiness, even if it meant letting go of the love he had for Phayu.
As he wiped his tears, Rain picked up his phone and scrolled through his contacts until he found Jason’s name.
He hesitated for a moment, but then pressed the call button.
The sound of Jason’s voice brought a sense of comfort.
“Hey, Rain! How’s it going?” Jason asked, his tone bright and welcoming.
“Not great,” Rain admitted, his voice shaky. “I just… I need to talk.”
“Of course. I’m here for you. What’s going on?”
Rain took a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts.
“It’s about Phayu. I thought I could handle my feelings, but seeing him with Melanie… it just hurt too much. I can’t keep pretending that I’m okay with it.”
“I get it,” Jason said softly. “It’s tough to see someone you care about with someone else, especially when you have feelings for them.
But you deserve to be happy too, Rain.”
“I know,” Rain replied, his voice barely above a whisper. “I just don’t know how to move on.
I feel like I’m stuck in this cycle of unrequited love, and it’s exhausting.”
“Maybe it’s time to focus on yourself and what makes you happy,” Jason suggested.
“You’ve been so focused on Phayu and his happiness that you’ve neglected your own. You deserve to find someone who can love you back.”
Rain nodded, even though Jason couldn’t see him.
“You’re right. I need to start thinking about my own happiness. But it’s hard to let go of the hope that maybe one day Phayu would feel the same way.”
“Hope is good, but don’t let it hold you back,” Jason encouraged.
“You have so much to offer, and there are people out there who would appreciate you for who you are. Maybe it’s time to put yourself out there.”
With Jason’s words echoing in his mind, Rain decided to take a leap of faith.
“Okay, I’ll try. I’ll focus on meeting new people and finding my own happiness. But I need your help.”
“Anything for you, Rain. Let’s make a plan. How about we explore some dating apps? You never know who you might meet.”
Rain felt a flicker of excitement at the thought. “That sounds like a good idea. I’ll give it a shot.”
“Great! And remember, I’m just a call away if you need to talk or vent. You’re not alone in this.”
As they hung up, Rain felt a renewed sense of determination.
He knew it wouldn’t be easy, but he was ready to take the first steps toward finding his own happiness.
He opened his laptop and began to explore dating apps, his heart racing with a mix of anxiety and hope.
