"Again, as I said, your daughter is to visit here every two weeks for a check in, and I strongly suggest that you treat her as a injured child, she is very mentally fragile at this moment, and potentially violent at times, I also suggest that she check in to the mental health institution nearby for treatment." My mother gasped from behind the door as the doctor continued to speak. "And you may want to tell her about her grandfather... But break it to her gently seeing it was only yesterday." I backed away from the door confused and rushed back into my bed before the door opened. My mother walked in with Tracy and she greeted me with a tired sad smile, and Tracy kept her eyes to the floor and avoided eye contact.
"Hey darling, it's, time, to, go, home." Tracy snickered as my mother talked to me like I was retarded.
"Okay, but stop talking so weird your creeping me out ma!" I exclaimed as I got to my feet and grabbed the vase full of black roses. I handed the to my mother and ran out of the hospital room that had held me captive for so long. I was expecting Tracy to chase after me like she normally does but I was taken-aback when I looked back in the room to see Tracy behind mom walking very slowly with her face focused at the ground once again. "Are you alright Trace?" I asked in a concerned monotone as I walked beside Tracy once they caught up to my current position.
"I'm fine Night, don't worry about me, and hold hands with Mom I don't want you wandering off somewhere." I nodded quickly and leaned forward enough to grab moms hand. We walked for a bit before we made it to the parking lot and I immediately regretted wanting to go home. A car stopped in front of the cross walk waiting for us to cross to get to our vehicle but I broke down into a freak attack. I dropped to my knees and cupped my ears as it began to become hard to breathe. It felt like my throat was closing off, my hands became clammy, my ears started to ring and my body shook violently as my short past flashed before my watery eyes. I could hear someone calling my name but it was muffled from the ringing in my ears and because I also cupped my ears with my hands. Soon I felt myself being shook witch snapped me back into my cruel new reality. I gasped and flailed around for a moment before I came back to my senses and noticed that it was Tracy who touched me.
"Whoa, calm down Night it's just me, what the heck is up with you?" I whipped a tear from my eye and look down at the ground.
"I don't know, but all I do now is that I am not, going, to walk to the car, I don't ever want to step foot on another street again! Never ever, ever, ever!" I clung to Tracy's leg and had a god five minute cry before I passed out from hyperventilating.
