Tadhg came over yesterday, along with Annalise and Oisin. He's doing better, though he's not going to be himself again for awhile. I'm not naive enough to ignore that.

Today, however, Gibs came home from a camping trip with his mates for Johnny's birthday / farewell party.

I sat in my room, tuning my guitar when Gerard barged in, dumping his back and dumping himself on my bed. "How was your ni-"

"I'm going to fucking kill that girl, I swear. I'm on my last straw here hun." He cut me off, and I set my guitar in its case and sat cross legged on my bed beside him.
"Who? What happened?"

"Fucking viper." He grumbled into my pillow, and I huffed. Lizzie young had a feeling that my step-cousin was responsible for her sisters death, and while he sort of was, it wasn't the way she thought. "What did she do this time?"

"Pushed me into the fucking river is what!" He looked at me this time, and I gaped. "What?! Are you serious?" He had to be joking me, because there's no way that someone who knows about Gerard's childhood would pull shit like that.

"Serious as cancer, Lily. I've had enough of her bullshit." I knew he did. Because while this probably makes it into the top three, Elizabeth Young is some fucking monster who has done horrendous things to my cousin.

disclaimer: I don't hate lizzie as much as it says in the last line, this is from the pov of gibsies cousin who only knows her through the shit she did to him.

this is a really short chapter but i don't have many ideas for the summer

Also!! this book is coming to an end. the last chapter will be their first day at tommen. the next book will be called 'Mourning 5', and it takes us through lilibeths current and past life, as well as them going through secondary and finding love interests etc.
