''How long have I been asleep?'', you asked yourself waking up in a foreign room.

You knew that this wasn't the one that you were staying before. Then it occurred to you that maybe you wandered off into Prince's room and fell asleep on his bed seeing some of his old records, old news reads, and book collections. They honestly did interest you but you knew better. You told yourself that those were his things and that you couldn't raid them. You looked down at your toes as you wiggled them trying to shake the numb feeling from you left leg that fell asleep. All of a sudden you remembered yourself on the velvet couch downstairs after cleaning a little before telling Prince that you though it best to stay behind stead of going to the funeral. You almost felt guilty that you didn't go to pay your respects but, you've had enough death to last you a little while longer. You also remembered being lifted from the couch and upstairs by someone and that's probably how you found yourself in Prince's room. You cracked a small smile thinking about Prince and touching your forehead.

''He kissed me right here, I remember it.'', you said running two fingers on it. You sighed shrugging and decided to go downstairs.

The house was quiet with him gone you thought yet the both of you had it to yourselves. Except for the man that stays upstairs in one of the rooms, Roc, that called you ''Hayden''. You still found it very strange how someone you've never met before in your entire life would act as if they've known you forever. Maybe it's just a mistake you told yourself, many people can mistake people for others, right? You couldn't put your finger on it but something striked you about Roc, only you wish you knew what it s was. It could be important. You walked towards the kitchen and decided that you'd whip out of the recipes you you used to make in the Fulton house. You looked through all the cabinets, the refrigerator, pantry, and drawers to see what you've got to work with. You beamed when you thought of just the thing to make.

''Boudin Noir Aux Pommes, ze magnifique meal!'', you said in beautiful French accent and laughing at yourself afterwards for mimicking Charlotte.

A few minutes passed and you were already in complete merriment reminiscing about the times with Meriel, Miranda, Charlotte, Edith, and the other four cooks at the time. All of you would mix sugar, throw batter here and there, and just laugh while making dishes from all other the world. A lot of the cooks there came from different parts of the world so the food was always fun to learn to make. You still felt as if you were missing something looking towards the wooden record player by the window. You nodded as you crouched down looking through them to find something fun to play. You came across something that looked like a painting on the cover of a couple when you felt yourself smiling.

''Gotye.'', you said very much interested reading the back of the cover.

The painting was very vintage almost reminding you of the Fulton house. You took the disk out and placed the tonearm to the disk as it span. The music came melodically as you felt yourself swaying from side to side.

''Now and then I think of when we were together...'', the song sang mellowly.

Soon the sound filled the whole house as you went back to the stove enjoying the mellow yet amazing sound.

''Pass the seasoning for goodness sake Edith!'', you laughed mimicking Miranda when they got into an argument about how much spices to use. You spun around with the pan and mixing spoon in your hand to the music and laughed again.

He just stood by the doorway and folded his arms and watch.

By now you knew the chorus as you sung harmonically with the man that was singing,

''Now your just somebody that I used to know, SOMEBODYYYY-'', you stopped when you saw him standing there clapping as you placed the pan down quickly resuming your position before. You felt that he came closer as you kept your eyes on what you were cooking. You watched as the onions and green peppers shriveled around as you mixed it around and it reminded you of how you felt the last time he was around you. He was mixing you up and you felt as if you were shriveling under fire like an onion or green peppers.
