Prince's POV:

Beep-beep, beep, the continuous heart meter's green light ran up and down as I face palmed. It was already getting late, and I was supposed to swing by the office and pick out a few things before heading home until now I guess. I watched as the detective's lifeless body laid there in silence, as if nothing could wake him. He looked so peaceful. I still didn't get how this could have happened and how he could have been poison. Maybe he ate something tainted, or maybe something dangerous got into his system. As I sat up in the chair, the doctor strolled into the room and fixed his glasses to get a good look at me.

Doctor: Are you a relative of Mr. Crippen's?

Prince: No sir, his friend. My name is Princeton. But people call me Prince. Anyway, doctor can you tell me more on his condition?

Doctor: Well I can't tell you much as of right now, I frowned. But, it's good that you brought him here when you did, or else there's no telling what could have happened. Can you tell me exactly what happened?

Prince: Oh. Well we were having some coffee and chatting when my phone rang. So I went aside to pick the call, when all of a sudden there was a huge crowd of people running to our table. And as I moved everyone to see what was cause the commotion, lord behold it was him. He had collapsed onto the floor and blood was coming from his nose and his mouth.

Doctor: Well were gonna take some blood samples and let you know his condition okay? I nodded.

Prince: Thank you doctor. Thank you very much.

Doctor: No problem.

As we both went our separate ways I played with my rosary on my neck and tried to think this whole thing though. What really happened? Just then I passed a dark room. There was one window and the curtain covered it and made it look like a creepy room from a horror film. I know curiosity killed the cat but I had to see why it was like that. Did the nurse really leave it like this? As I peeked into the window I could see someone sitting in a wheel chair near the bed looking up at something. I could see their long grey hair droopy hair dangling from the back of the chair, and their wrinkled arms on the handle. It was an elderly woman. Her concentration had me in a daze as she continued to sit still in her chair and as I slightly opened the door, the smell of death hit me in the face like a heavy iron to the face. I held my breath and out of nowhere the lady began to shake. I mean shake like there was no tomorrow I feared as I rushed in to help and stand by the door closing it to make sure she didn't hear me. She stopped. I think she sensed me in here. I looked up at what she was looking at and what I was made me tremble. A brown wooden crucifix stood on her wall. And it turned upside down as she turned around slowly. We should I do? Her head made a complete turn around and her face...oh God...her face...

As the foreignness of her words filled my eardrums, I felt myself becoming weak as I dropped to my knees. I began to throw up blood as she continued to speak. I can't even explain the feeling right now. What is inside me? I feel like someone else what's to take control. I somehow managed to stand up as I grabbed my neck, did she want me to die? I grabbed my rosary and said a short prayer, ''In the name of the Virgin Mary, father, son, and the Holy Spirit. In the name of the Virgin Mary, father, son, and the Holy Spirit. I repeatedly said this prayer as the lady began to shake again but this time, her eyes rolled to the back of her head. "AND THE HOLY SPIRIT!! I shouted as she lunged towards me. I reached for the door knob and crawled out scared out of my mind. As I got back up, I cleared my throat and looked back into the window of the room, and to my surprise she wasn't in there anymore. But, there was an owl in the corner of the window.

Myles POV:

12, 13, 14, 15....it seemed like these papers printed endlessly. I took out the printer's tray and placed it on the table as I frantically looked for the cancel button. It was marked with a red ''X'' and a little blinking dot. I smiled because finally my paper printing nightmare was over and now I could go home....right after I cleaned Mr. Perez's desk. Damn. Ever since Mr. Montroll's sudden death and the fact that Mr. Perez was scheduled to leave on the same note raised a couple of eyebrows and I think the rumors were getting around faster than anyone excepted. But I don't blame anyone at the Gazette. Could it be that Mr. Perez the intelligent writer and author has something so horrifying to hide that he had to run away from it? Or could it be that the kind and charming wouldn't-hurt-a-fly Mr. Royal could possibly be accused of murder of killing his wife? But moreover and most importantly, how can Mr. Mevis just out of the blue show up and claim to be the new ''owner of the Gazette? Something doesn't smell right.
