"What is hell? I maintain that it is the suffering of being unable to love."

◇─◇──◇─◇All of us were on top of the tower. Nanaba and Gelgar knelt beside Lynne and Henning's bodies, behind them, part of the tower was destroyed, debris scattered everywhere.
I couldn't process what I was seeing. My lips trembled as I managed to ask, "What... what happened?"
Gelgar straightened, his face pale with grief. "They're dead. died instantly."
I stepped forward, swallowing hard. "How?" I whispered, my voice cracking.
Nanaba's sorrowful gaze met mine. "debris," she said softly. "It came out of nowhere. first, it hit the horses, killing them, then...them"
my heart pounded as I rushed to the edge of the tower. In the moonlight below, all the horses lay in grotesque heaps. my eyes darted frantically until they found him-orpheus. his black coat was streaked with blood, his body lifeless. My stomach twisted. "No..." I whispered, shaking my head.
Connie's voice broke the silence, sharp and trembling. "He did this!" he shouted, pointing toward the wall. He ran to the edge, peering over. "That hairy son of a bitch is..." His words cut off, replaced by a sharp gasp. "Heads up! Twice as many titans as before!"
I hurried to his side and leaned over. My heart sank as I saw the swarm of titans approaching the tower.
"This isn't random," nanaba snapped, her composure cracking. "It's coordinated. They're toying with us."
Scanning the horizon, I saw him-the furry titan-perched on the wall. A guttural roar ripped from him, and the titans below surged with renewed aggression, pounding at the tower's base. the structure trembled violently.
I stumbled, but reiner caught my arm, steadying me. "You okay?" he asked, his voice calm.
"I'm fine," I muttered, glancing at him before returning my gaze to the furry titan. my breath hitched as it climbed down the wall with eerie grace, disappearing into the darkness.
"Who the fuck are you?" I whispered, my voice trembling with fear and fury.
Nanaba and Gelgar exchanged a look of resolve. "We'll handle it," gelgar said firmly.
"No!" I protested. "There are too many! You'll get overwhelmed!"
"If we don't, none of us make it out," Nanaba said softly but decisively.
"You're strong," I pleaded, my voice cracking. "But this is too much. please-there has to be another way."
Gelgar gave a faint grin. "don't count us out just yet."
