Dollars.
But who were they? Gang? Organization? A charity club? There was nothing about them except they were all grouped together in downtown Ikebukuro. Your fingers flew away on your laptop keyboard. You were searching every engine, clicking every link, rewatching the videos on the dollars grouped together. But there was nothing. Yeah it was cool seeing the headless horseman.
Who was in charge? Who was apart of the Dollars? Shit. What was their color even?
There was absolutely nothing. You groaned. Laying back onto your bed, exhausted. Why were you so focused on these... invisible people? The Dollars are like ninjas who blend with everyone else, leaving no trace. Not even a hair behind.
You frustratedly force your mouse around in random directions. Whatever.
You close the laptop, setting it to the side. You had school in the morning anyways. You check your watch.
00:12.
Damn. Didn't even change out of your uniform. Good thing no homework wasn't assigned.
You strip from your dirty clothes, throwing them in the hamper. Grabbed your towel.
The heat fogged up every inch of the bathroom. Maybe you could find information another way. This colorless gang at least, one person had to know who they were.
Their leader.
To run such a hidden gang, they had to be smart. Powerful. They'd probably showed no mercy. They probably can make people disappear with no trace. Were they under your nose? Were they hidden in the mountains? Are they the underworld god? Are they robin hood?
Who...?
The water began cooling down. You were just standing in the shower in your own world. You quickly cleaned up before the warm water officially went cold.
You wrapped yourself in the towel and went back into your bedroom. You dry off and put your sleeping clothes on.
What if what you find about the Dollars gets me in trouble? What if they'll think you'll snitch? What if it comes a time you do actually rat out what you know?
You question yourself over and over til you fall to sleep. You were just so curious.
You wake up, daze. Worn down. You didn't sleep as well as you thought you did. There's this weight on you.
06:12. You use the bathroom, wash your face, brush your teeth.
06:29. You put on your uniform. You admit, uniforms were weird but at least you didn't have to plan an outfit.
06:34. You were eating breakfast and watching TV. Yet still dozing off. You still had a few minutes to rest a little before making your way to the train station. It wasn't sleeping but it still made if feel at least a little bit rested.
07:02. You made it to the station in time. Just a twenty minute ride and a few blocks of walking.
The weight. Its not because you were sleepy. It was something different. It carried in the air. You look up, seeing the crowd of passengers. Impatient business workers. High school students on their phones. Mother and calming their child.
What is it?
You step on the grounds of Raira. Are you depressed? This weight is getting heavier.
You continue walking, seeing a families bob-cut female. Anri. You tried conversing with her once, yet the conversation did go far. She seemed distracted, or she just didn't want to speak. But still... You were curious.
