"Come, Dragon." The blond boy takes off his shoes and goes into his daddy's arms. And he starts sobbing into his arms.
"Papa, the blood is scary." Draco manages to articulate between his sobs.
"I know, Dragon, I'm sorry you had to see that." Severus racked his brains trying to think of a way to distract Draco. There's no way I'm singing a lullaby!
"You know, Dragon, we need blood to live, but in Ha- daddy's case, the blood was in the wrong place, that's why he had so much coming out of his belly." Severus stroked his hair tenderly. Draco seems to have calmed down to listen to his papa. And the fact that you saw the blood on the bed means there's something wrong inside Daddy. That's why Uncle Azar used a special instrument to open him up and heal your dad. Severus cringes when he calls them like that.
"Did he really?" Draco says hopefuly.
"Yes, your uncle will do everything he can to heal your dad. And the three of us, me, you and the baby must wait for him to finish." The Potion Master adds. Please Harry survive, we need you.

He enters their bedroom after a stroll in the garden with Draco and sighs at the sight of his husband's body lying on the bed, asleep for months. 3 months to be exact. His imp has been in a coma for 3 months. He goes and lies down beside him. The operation was a great success, he's no longer between life and death, but his body was so brutally ravaged that his magical core was forcefully extended. That's why his magic has kept him in a state of deep sleep until now, so that his body can get used to this new magical heightened power, so that he doesn't implode. Severus runs his hand tenderly over his husband's warm cheek.
"The waiting is unbearable, Harry. What keeps me from spending my days cooped up in the bedroom is Draco and the baby. You told me you'd destroy anyone who hurt me, hurt us. But now it's your absence that's destroying us." His eyes are moist. He now understands how Harry felt when he and their baby were almost killed. But now every day is an ordeal. But he must be strong for Draco and their unborn child. I want to see your emerald eyes again.
Draco speaks very little and rarely leaves his state of regression. He only wants his bottle and his dummy.
Silas hardly ever leaves his workshop and barely eats under Dobby's supervision. The dark elf had fainted with shock on hearing the news. He spent a week without leaving his room and then locked himself in his workshop.
Griphook and the Weasley arrived the day after the incident. It was the first time he had seen a goblin cry. He cried for a while. Every day he comes to see you and makes sure we're all right. The twin was too inconsolable. They did decide to move in to take care their little brother.
Azar moved into the manor within a week of Harry's operation. He wanted to be closer to monitor the condition of his little brother, whom he thought he had lost in his hands during the operation. Only Hel and Dobby knew, as they took part in the operation, that the young man died for 30 seconds before his heart started again. The vampire would never forgive himself for not having been able to save his little brother, Emerald.
Unlike the others, Hel doesn't seem to be devastated. She goes about her business as if nothing had changed until the beginning of the week. She is now lying by a hot water pool that Harry created earlier. She could lay her eggs at any moment.
And Hedwig now spends her days in the bedroom by the window.
Severus's eyes widen in surprise. He places his hand on his five-month pregnant belly. He can still feel it and a genuine smile spread across his face. It was the first time he had felt the baby's kick. He hadn't smiled like that for 3 months. He grabs his husband's hand and places it where he felt the last kick. And the baby did it again.
