Legacy of love

It was an early morning breeze, Enzo and Bonnie went to the cabin, and they were both asleep until she woke up and stood up and ran to the bathroom. She felt sick, and she went to a nearby cabinet and took out a pregnancy test. She just wanted to know.

Staring at the pregnancy test waiting for the results, her heart was racing in anticipation. Once she looked at the test, two lines showed up revealing she was pregnant. Shocked, excitement, and hint of fear mix in her chest. She places her hand on her stomach in excitement, knowing that she will bring a child into this world with the man she loves.

Bonnie (to herself): ''This can be real. Enzo.''

While whipping tears from her cheek, Bonnie started to think about everything that was going to happen.

Later in the day, Enzo comes back to the cabin, walking in with his signature smirk on his face. While placing his coat in the closet, he walked up to Bonnie and kissed her hello.

''What's wrong, Bon? You look like you've seen a ghost. Not me, I hope.''

Bonnie nervously chuckles. ''Enzo I have something to tell you.''

He looked at her concern. ''What is it, love?''

She steps closer, taking his hands in hers. ''I'm pregnant.''

The room falls silent. Enzo expression shifts from joy to excitement.

''You're serious? Bonnie, this is amazing news.''

He pulls her into a tight hug.

''I didn't believe that I could have any children, not after everything that happened with my powers.'' She cries.

Enzo cups her face. ''This is our second chance, Bonnie. A chance to build our family to have life we've always dreamed of.''

Bonnie and Enzo decided to invite: Caroline, Damon, Elena, and Stefan for dinner to tell them the good news. They prepared an amazing spread, but Bonnie could barely eat cause of all of the stress.

Caroline noticed Bonnie. ''Okay spill. Something's up, You've been acting weird all night.''

Damon also noticed. ''Yeah spill what's up.

Bonnie and Enzo exchanged glances.

''Actually, it's not bad news, um, we have something to tell yall.''

She pauses before taking a deep breath. ''Enzo and I are having a baby.''

The room filled with excitement and squeals from both Elena and Caroline. Immediately planning a baby shower. Elena and Caroline went up to hug Bonnie in excitement. Stefan and Damon went to give Enzo a congratulating hug.

'Well, isn't this a plot twist? The Bennet witch and the British Vampire parent. Who would have thought?'' Damon said while smiling.

''Trust me, Damon, this was suprise to the both of us.'' Bonnie laughed through her tears.

''This is exciting, congrats guys, do you know if it's a boy or girl? Oh, we need to start planning everything.''

''You two are going to be amazing parents. Congratulations.''

''Thank you, Elena. This little one is already going to have an amazing mother taking care of them.''

Bonnie decided to visit her mom and grandma at their house to suprise them with the exciting news. Abby opens the door, her expression brightens, but her motherly concern pops up.

''Bonnie, what's up? You look like you've got something to say.''

Bonnie steps inside, walking towards the couch, with her mother walking behind her.

Bonnie: (taking a deep breath) "Mom, I came here to tell you something important. First, I want you to know that I'm happy, really, really happy but it's still overwhelming."

Abby: (concerned) "Bonnie, whatever it is, you can tell me. You've faced tougher things than anyone I know."

Bonnie reaches out and grabs her mother's hand, tears welling in her eyes.

Bonnie: "I'm pregnant, Mom. Enzo and I... we're having a baby."

Abby's face flashes with shock, but it quickly melts into a radiant smile.

Abby: "Bonnie, that's wonderful news!"

Bonnie: (tearing up) "You're really okay with this? I mean, my life's been so chaotic, and I didn't know how you'd react."

Abby pulls her into a warm embrace.

Abby: "You've always found a way to overcome every obstacle, Bonnie. If anyone can balance being a mother and everything else, it's you."

Bonnie: (smiling) "That's not all. There's someone else I want to tell. And I think it's time you saw her too."

Abby looks at Bonnie, puzzled.

Bonnie and Abby walk through the wooded path that leads to Sheila's secluded home. Bonnie's heart races with anticipation, knowing this moment is long overdue. When they arrive, Sheila is tending to a vibrant garden, her presence calm and radiant as ever.

Sheila looks up, her eyes lighting up as she sees her granddaughter and daughter approaching.

Sheila: (smiling warmly) "Bonnie, Abby. What brings you both here together?"

Bonnie: (tearing up) "There's something I need to tell you both. I'm pregnant. You're going to be a great-grandmother, Grams."

Sheila's face softens, and her eyes fill with pride.

Sheila: "A new Bennett witch... or perhaps warlock. This child will carry on our family's legacy, Bonnie. And I'll be here every step of the way to guide you."

Abby: (smiling through tears) "Three generations of Bennetts together. This is more than I ever dreamed of."

Sheila: "It's more than magic, Bonnie. It's love that brought us to this moment. And that's the kind of magic your child will know."

The three women embrace, tears of joy shared among them.

That evening, Bonnie sits by the fire, Enzo beside her. She recounts the day's events, her heart full.

Bonnie: "I told my mom and Grams. They were both so happy. I never thought I'd have both of them with me, especially at a time like this."

Enzo: (smiling) "You brought them back together, Bonnie. And now, you're building something even more extraordinary a family of our own."

Bonnie rests her head on Enzo's shoulder, her hand over her stomach, feeling at peace for the first time in years.

Bonnie: "I've lost so much, Enzo. But this... this feels like everything I've ever wanted. And I'm not letting it go."
