Hints.
I was looking for hints, tiny or huge, main or sidelined, visible or hidden, I needed hints to dig into my sperm donor’s character.
Though I knew about him, the world believed in evidence. The unavailability of nonsensical evidence often encouraged demons to roam around freely.
I wanted to destroy Raghuvanshi, the reason Mom left me. It has been more than two years since I began my unannounced war against him, but I have failed every time due to a lack of connections and loopholes in my planning.
When Pankti offered me to stay at Raghuvanshi’s mansion, I felt like hitting my foot, but as the day passed, I grabbed this golden opportunity to keep an eye on him and observe his acts through the staff I had allotted to the mansion.
Last week, I changed the entire team, each of them including the cook and cleaning staff. They were my personal detectives hired by me to report every action taking place in my absence.
A single knock on the door snapped me out of my thoughts.
“Come in,” I switched the tab from secret documents to random files of my hotel on my laptop.
“Good afternoon, sir.” Zain’s quick footsteps lifted my gaze. “I’ve got the details about Satish Juneja.”
Satish Juneja. He invested his money blindly in Raghuvanshi’s Industries two decades back but betrayal runs in Naren’s blood and Satish turned out to be his victim too.
“Shoot your words,” I crossed my arms and leaned back on the chair.
“Satish Juneja was declared with unsound mind twenty years back. Consequently, he was made to resign his position of Director at Juneja Logistics, the same firm that offers transport services to Raghuvanshi Industries at present too.” He disclosed the details from his phone and waited for my response.
“Any details on their future contracts?” I asked, bracing the glass desk and interlacing my fingers.
He scrolled through his tab. “They’re planning to strike a deal with Jaipur-based Raichands Private Limited.” He revealed.
“Who is the owner?”
“Vihaan Raichand.”
“Fix a meeting with Vihaan Raichand and find Satish Juneja,” I ordered, dismissing him with a wave of my two fingers, pointing at the door.
