___ wiped the sweat off her forehead as she helped Yomo put the last of the chairs away. She was free now, what would she do?

Then an idea popped into her head. She could figure out what was up with Kaneki. She had Hinami send her information about him and followed the lead she had on him.

He was a part of the Quinx Squad of CCG under investigator Akira. ___ clenched her fists. What had they done to him? She was going to get Kaneki back no matter what.

___ ran out of :re and climbed a building. Why was she climbing buildings? Because it gave her an adrenaline rush.

Her Kagune ripped out of her back and she used them to go faster. Yes, she was a full ghoul now. She had changed. Her body had changed.

She made sure to take a jacket with her so if a dove was around, they wouldn't suspect her ripped shirt.

She tried to smell out Kaneki but to no avail the scent was mixed with so many others. Cursing, she proceeded to go to the area where he was suspected to be living in. Upon reaching, she caught his scent. It was strong. ____ grinned and followed it. When she reached near him she noticed him disguised as a girl.

Why would he do that?

The rest of the Quinx were with him. She groaned. Was he ever alone? She followed them until they reached their destination.

She stood in front of a nightclub that had music blaring out. She scrunched up her sensitive nose at the smell of alcohol. She followed the Quinx inside the building.

"This is for him." She muttered as she wandered inside. She hated nightclubs. The men there were complete perverts.

The lighting was dark. ___ noticed one of the doves was drinking. She smirked, they looked funny dressed as girls. She saw him talking to a female ghoul. So that's what they are here for. An investigation, She thought.

The female ghoul was known as nutcracker to the CCG. She was dangerous. I hope Kaneki is safe, she thinks. Soon enough, the thing she hates happens.

Guys around her try to flirt with her. One grabs her behind and she tries to get out of his grip. "Let go you asshole!" She yells. Nobody would hear her over the loud music, of course.

Haise notices the same girl from the cafe being manhandled. Something cracks inside him. Was he jealous? He knew he couldn't help her dressed as a girl. "All of you head back home. I'll see you later." He tells his squad members.

They give him unsure looks but he just gestures them to listen. They agree and leave.

Haise goes inside a toilet and takes off his disguise. He walks back out into the club and sees that the girl is now being flirted with by a different man. She looks pissed off.

Haise clenches his fist in anger and storms over to her. He pushes the man away from her and pulls her behind him. "Hey! What's the idea? Go mind your own business!" The unknown man tells him. ___ smiles sadly at Haise's back. He's being protective over her.

Haise only glares at the man. "Leave, she's not alone." He tells. This shocks both himself and the girl behind him. Was he jealous?, ___ wonders. He sure was acting like it.

Once the man leaves, Haise sighs in relief and turns to look at her. She's smiling at him and that makes him smile too. Being around her felt nice.

If only you'd accept me. You'd know what it feels like to hold her, the white haired boy's voice calls out in his head. His eyes widen. What was wrong with him? What was going on?
