Jiminie - Oops (Requested)

You smiled down at your husband sleeping peacefully next to you, his head resting on your chest as you read a book in the dimmed lighting of your overhead lamp.

Jimin had a difficult week and was exhausted from all the work and dancing he'd done.

You were actually surprised you hadn't seen little jiminie yet, he normally always came out on Friday nights when you guys had the whole Saturday to relax together.

But as long as he was resting you didn't mind, you loved him either way.

It had been a rather uneventful evening, after having dinner together you got into bed to read for a while and Jimin climbed in next to you and fell asleep on you.

You were reading your book to the sound of his soft snores when your doorbell rang.

You gently peeled yourself away from your husband, trying not to disturb him as you made your way downstairs and opened the front door.

"Oh hi mom! Come in!" Your mom had just dropped round to give you some of her homemade potato salad because you LOVE it.

You were just chatting with her when you heard noises coming from your bedroom.

You excused yourself and made your way upstairs to see Jimin sat up in bed by himself, a little pout on his face as he whined at you, holding his arms out.

"What's wrong baby?" You rushed over to him, pulling him up onto your lap and cuddling him close to you.

You noticed your mom had followed you up and was peeking round the doorway but you chose to ignore it in favour of soothing your baby, who had clearly slipped.

You sat and rocked him as he cried, and he eventually stopped crying and looked up at you cutely, "paci?" He mumbled, eyeing your mom in the doorway carefully.

"Of course baby, lay down for me while I get your paci" you reached into his little space box and grabbed his favourite yellow paci as he snuggled himself down in the bed.

You popped his paci in his mouth, kissing his forehead as his eyes slipped closed and he fell asleep quickly.

You sat and stroked his hair for a while before tucking him in and leaving the room.

Your mom just looked at you, and you looked at her with that face that says 'not now' so she didn't ask any questions.

When your mom was leaving, she looked at you, and you were scared about what she was going to say.

She just smiled at you "I'm glad that you've found the love you've always wanted, and I'm glad you have eachother" she said.

You smiled at her, giving her a big hug and telling her you would both come over for dinner soon to catch up, since Jimin's schedule was calming down a bit.

You waved your mom off in her car, closing the door and returning to your comfy bed, now with a pouty baby in it sleeping peacefully.

As soon as you got back into bed he nuzzled his face into your thigh and you smiled, carding your fingers through his hair as you pulled your book back out.

You were quite happy to read with one hand, comforting your baby was far more important...
