Chapter 61

"Here's your dinner" Suho walked into Jiwoos hospital room, placing dinner that Elise had made for both me and Jiwoo. "Did you already eat?" I asked Suho, watching him glance down at me and Jiwoos interlocked hands. "Yes..." he gave a stern answer. "Thank you for the food" Jiwoo smiled to Suho who turned his attention to the boy. "You're welcome. I'll relay your appreciation to Elise" Jiwoo paused as he was about to take a bite of the food. "Who's Elise?" I blinked, that's right. He never met Elise before. (Honestly if jiwoo did, sorry, I just don't want to basically go back and reread the story because its so long lol)

"She's my maid" I smiled. Jiwoos eyes widened. "Maid?!" he slightly yelped. "Haha, yes. Although she's more of a friend than a maid" I said, remembering her blowing up my phone for the past few days worried out of her mind. "She wouldn't stop nagging me to bring her tonight. I practically had to wrestle her to keep her from coming" I laughed. "That's just like her" Suho looked at me, smiling a little seeing my happy expression. "What about the pups? And kittens?" Jiwoo blinked. It's been quite awhile since he's seen the pups and kittens. It brought him back the memory when he first met Kain and entered his home after he asked for his help with caring for the cats. He lightly giggled at recalling the event.

"They're being well taken care of. Although from what Elise reported, their energy seemed to have declined when you were away" He said. "Ah, I should be home in no time. Please tell Izen to give Elise a huge bonus. She works more than what she's expected to do" Suho bowed. "Speaking of Izen. I was told that the...chairman will be back in Korea within the next two weeks. Although I can't say for certain" Jiwoo noticed me tense up from Suhos words. "Yes, thank you" Suho bowed one last time to both Jiwoo and I before leaving the room.

"Are you ready to face your father?" jiwoo asked, concern evident in his tone. "Honestly, I don't know" Thinking about it, how am I supposed to face Kains father. I barely manage with everyone else but this, this felt completely different. "We'll see when the time comes" as much as I'd like to dwell on it more, I'd rather focus on jiwoos recovery above all else. "I feel bad for keeping you here hyung" jiwoo frowned.

A light chuckle escaped. "Don't be. It's my choice. It won't be long" I smiled, watching Jiwoos face contort into confusion. I looked outside as Jiwoo just went back to eating his food, enjoying every bite. 'It should be happening about right now', I thought. 'Kayden beating up Supil...'.

Just as predicted, Izen got a report from Shinhwa to meet with Jiyoung Yoo. At first, Izen almost declined due to tons of paperwork left but the report came in urgency. Thus, Izen had to drop everything he did and left to Shinhwa.

Once he had arrived, he was greeted with the sighting of Jiyoung Yoo, Inhyuk Goo, the unions Seongha Park, and none other than Kayden Break. They all wore stiff expressions as some noise erupted from a phone at the center table where everyone surrounded. "Mister Izen" Inhyuk greeted. "Inhyuk" Izen bowed back.

He knew enough of what was going on. Before any of this happened, once their young master was involved with the kidnapping incident, Izen was forced to intervene in investigating the causes of criminals coming into South Korea. Especially with no records of their transport of being smuggled in. Obviously, with their members and himself, they caught some evidence of Beakdus involvement. Only they had no idea just how much they were involved in.

Not only did this possibly cause a rift of trust between all South Korean factions but also within the treaty of peace between Hua and all of South Korea. Especially when it involves the founder and chairmans only son.

Izen silently passed to the couch with Seongha. He sat down, his steps as silent as if no one was in the room. Not even a breeze was felt. This sent shivers down Inhyuks spine. First the terrifying Chairman of Hua and now the right hand man known as Izen. Truly, all felt like monsters. Although as Inhyuk thought about it, it was because of how exceptional they are that they reigned top to the point of becoming a threat to the Awakened affiliations of South Korea.
