It's been almost a month since I update! You know everything is going too fast for me and some days I don't feel like writing, I'll try my best to update regularly.
!!Fighting!!Taehyung eventually woke up, his eyes snapping open at the sound of crying—his son! He hurriedly got up to find Jungkook pacing around the room, gently rocking their newborn in his arms, trying to calm him down.
"Baby... it's okay,"
Jungkook cooed softly to his son, gazing down at the crying infant.Taehyung walked toward them, his bare feet brushing against the cold floor. Without a word, he took the baby from Jungkook's arms, causing Jungkook to look at him in confusion.
"What's wrong, hyung?"
Jungkook asked quietly as the baby cried even louder when Taehyung pulled him away a little too abruptly."Nothing, Kookie,"
Taehyung replied, adjusting his hold on the baby. He avoided Jungkook's questioning gaze, turning his face away.Taehyung smiled faintly, though it didn't reach his eyes.
"I'll take care of him, Kookie. You can sleep."Before Jungkook could respond, Taehyung turned and left the room. The baby's cries echoed as Taehyung walked to the next room—their bedroom. He closed the door softly behind him and locked it.
Taehyung gently cradled his son in his arms, walking until the baby stopped crying. Sitting on the edge of the bed, he looked at his son, tears silently streaming down his face. He wiped them away with the sleeve of his shirt before lying down, keeping the baby close. Eventually, they both fell asleep.
Two hours had passed since Taehyung had left with the baby. Jungkook, unable to stay still, stopped pacing and finally left the room to search for them.
"Sir, do you need anything?"
one of the guards stationed on their floor asked as Jungkook passed by."Taehyung... do you know where he is?"
Jungkook asked, his voice laced with concern. The guard thought for a moment before bowing slightly.
"Sir is in the next room, beside your bedroom."Jungkook nodded and walked toward the room. Slowly, he turned the handle and stepped inside. He found Taehyung and their baby sound asleep on the bed. A soft smile spread across Jungkook's face, but it faded just as quickly.
He quietly left the room and returned a moment later with a blanket. Carefully, he tucked them in before leaving the room again.
Back in his own bedroom, Jungkook sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the wedding photo hanging on the wall. His slippers made faint noises as he walked to the drawer. He opened it and pulled out his diary—the one he used to pour his thoughts into when he had no one to confide in.
The diary was old and worn, its pages crinkled with age and heavy with memories, nightmares, and secrets. As he flipped through the pages, he came across loose sheets of paper tucked inside—letters he had written long ago, holding onto them to protect his pain.
Finally, Jungkook found an empty page and began to write. His handwriting was shaky, the ink smudged by tears that fell unchecked. His fear of Taehyung's recent behavior—of the growing silence and distance between them—compelled him to put his thoughts on paper.
Tears rolled down his cheeks, falling onto the page and leaving faint marks as evidence of his pain. Before he could fully lose himself in his emotions, his phone rang, shattering the silence.
Jungkook crawled to the side table to grab the phone, but his hands trembled so much that he nearly dropped it. The sight of the caller ID made his stomach twist.
