what attracts others to you?
what makes you company so enticing?
why must I be so repulsive
whilst you are so adored?
what must set us apart
to make you the better one?
i devote my life to perfection
yet you are perfect without trying
what irony it must be to be me.
to crave such love I never receive
and to see you thrive in it
