The Fosters- All from the beginning

The first foster home

We got to the house and Bill knocked on the door and a old lady opened the door. She's not that old, she just looks older then my mom.
"Callie, Jude come over here" the old lady said after Bill left. She was walking up the stairs. She opened a door at the end of the hallway and walked in, we followed her.
"Listen up you little shits, I can barley handle my own daughter. The only time she is good is when I buy her stuff and that's the only reason I agreed to take you in, I need more money for her. There is a bathroom through that door over there. I will come un lock the door when it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. You have a TV over there with some DVD's. Please don't make a lot of noise I get a lot of headaches. You will start school on Monday, but it's school and home. No running away shit, you run away once and you're gone. You got it."
Jude and I just nodded our heads. The lady left and you could hear her lock the door.
"I miss mom and dad" Jude said looking over to me.
"I do too buddy"

We sat in the room all day. I looked at the clock on the wall, it said 4:28. She didn't come get us for lunch.
"Hello?" I yell while banging on the door.
"Callie stop, remember what she said, 'don't make noise'" Jude said.
"Remember when she said she would let us out to eat lunch? But she didn't do that" I told him, then started banging on the door again.
"Callie stop I hear keys"
Jude and I both backed away from the door and sat on the bed.
"What did I tell you little shits? Don't make noise."
"You also said you would let us out for lunch, it's 4:43pm. You didn't do that" I said back both an attitude.
"Do you want a smack?" The lady said coming closer with her hand in the air.
Jude and I both flinched.
"My daughter was at her friends house and I took a nap, I forgot. Dinner will be ready in a couple hours you can wait till then" she said and then closed the door and locked it again.
"YOU CAN'T DO THIS, YOU CANT JUST KEEP US IN HERE LIKE CAGED ANIMALS!" I screamed on the top of my lungs.
I heard the keys ringing again and then the door busted open.
"Did you just talk back to me missy?" You could tell she was mad, she had a vain popping out of her neck and forehead.
"I didn't talk back, I just said you can't keep is in here li-"
She raised her had and slapped me across the cheek.
"YOU CAN'T DO THAT" I screaming while starting to cry.
"Well I just did" she said and then left again. I looked over to see Jude wasn't there anymore.
"Jude?"
He came out of the bathroom and ran to me.
"Callie just be nice please. I don't want her to get angry with us." Jude said.
"But maybe if she gets angry she will send us away and we can go to a new home, one that has a nice family that will want us and love us."
"But I don't want a new family I want our family." Jude started to cry.
"Me too Jude. Me too."
