3 ~ Dates

After the fireworks, Taylor and I walked around the beach. He continued to tell me stories or anything funny that happened in his life and I would laugh at everything he said. When we reached the end of the beach, we decided to take a rest and just watch the star.

We lay down on the sand and continued to talk. We’ll ask each other questions like twenty question game but I didn’t expect him to ask “Would you like to go out with me?” I remember looking at him with wide eyes and feeling confuse and doubtful. I watched him sat up and I sat up as well.

“I’m serious,” He began to say to me but my stomach were already twisting in anticipation, “ever since I met you, I couldn’t think properly. All I could think of is if are your eyes, how your lips felt like against mine and what you are doing. My mind is a mess and I can’t think straight except wanting to ask you out.” Every word I hang onto but I couldn’t believe what he was saying to me. “Please, would you go out with me?”

I don’t know what came over to me that time. I normally think about it or tell the guy that I have to think it over. I always think of the pros and cons about dating a guy but with Taylor, there were just something about him. I don’t know if it’s the way he was looking at me or just the way he makes my heart race and my stomach twist, so I said, “yes” without thinking.

Two weeks had passed since Taylor and I started dating. We would go out to eat, watch cinema and even go to fairs. He would also buy things for me like the flowers, chocolate and even the necklace he bought for me.

Then if it is late at night, he’ll drop me off to my place but he won’t let me go out of his car not until we do our make out session. He said he didn’t want to look really rude making our in public with children and elders watching us so we only settled with a peck or a kiss on cheeks but not what we do every night.

“So…” That was always the cue, the start of our heated make out that Taylor said.

It will start with him leaning over to me and giving me light kisses then he’ll deepen the kiss by placing his hand at the back of my head and securing it into place. Then his left hand will snake around my waist and the next thing I know, I’m sat on top of him with my hand around his neck.

However, I always ruined it. The first time it happen, I felt him touch my chest, I pulled away looking embarrass and told him I don’t swing like that, meaning sex on the first couple of dates. The second, third and fourth dates he didn’t try anything funny but on the fifth date he try to touch my chest but this time I let him until I felt his hand went under my shirt and once again I panic and told him that I wasn’t ready. He said he understands.

That’s when I notice things that he does. After my little panic attack he won’t do anything or so I thought but he still does it but like baby-step until I felt comfortable to let him and I do. I let him do it time to time. It came to a time where he managed to get my shirt off me but I stop him before he takes more than that.

“What should I do?” I asked Josh through the phone after my date with Taylor where once again, I stop him from taking more than one item of my clothing. I felt guilty for not telling Libby what’s going on and for not seeing Libby and Josh as much as I used to.

“What exactly is the problem?” Josh asked and I can tell he is really bored as he flips the channels one after the other from the background noise.

“I can tell he wants to do it!” I said frustrated. I was thankful enough that my mother is still at work or else, I wouldn’t be able to sleep properly for not talking to anyone about this. “I don’t know if I’m ready!”

“If he really does love you, he’ll wait. Just tell him the truth that you are still a virgin.” Josh said before settling on a channel and by the sound of it, it was Games of Thrones. I never liked that show personally because I don’t like the T.V. version but I do love the book. “Anyway, I need to go! My favourite show is on!” Then he hangs up on me.

But that’s exactly what I did. On our next date after I stop another heated make-out. I said to Taylor, “I’m sorry I keep ruining it but I don’t think I’m ready.” Then I started ranting on and on about me being a virgin and not wanting my first time on a car and I don’t think I am ready and wanting my first time to be special, etc.

Taylor had to stop me ranting by kissing me and deepening it until we both couldn’t breathe properly. “Wow!” was all I could say after that. “I’ll wait until you are ready.” Taylor whispered against my lips before we start making out again.
