(Third Person POV)

Peggy left the office in a brisk pace, but didn't rush. She knew Tiffany needed space to think and wanted to offer that to her before she barged in and threw in her own thoughts.

She exited the building and looked around for a second to see where Tiffany was (most likely) pacing. Instead, she saw her limp body being dragged by a man in all black to a car at the curb.

Peggy's eyes went wide and she went to reach for her gun. "Stop!" she called, getting closer.

The men moved faster. Peggy wanted nothing more than to pull her gun, but there were people on the sidewalk, now. They looked at the scene before them, confused and bewildered. The kidnappers were most likely armed, too. This wasn't the place, she'd create too big of a scene and everything would go to shit.

Peggy took note of the car and read the license plate on the back before it sped away. Then, she turned and sprinted back inside to get up to the office.

The second those doors were open, Peggy ran into Jack's office. "Chief!" she cried, grabbing everyone's attention. Jack hurried out of his office as she wrote down the license plate and car description.

"What? What's going on?" Jack asked as he came out. Peggy ripped out the piece of paper and put it in his hand.

"Agent Jones has been kidnapped, this is the car she was put into," she said. Jack's face made Peggy want to crumble. She knew neither of them had fully admitted to each other or themselves how in love they really were. "I wanted to stop them but there were civilians. I didn't want to risk crossfire injury if they were armed."

"Did you see face? Any description at all?" Jack asked, searching for a piece of paper and pen to write details down.

However, Peggy shook her head. "I didn't. They were fast and in all black. It has to do with Peters, I'm sure, but..."

"'But' what? We don't have time to hesitate, we need to start moving," Jack said, impatient- well, much more so than usual. Other agents around the office were moving to put things away and get ready to go out, even. They could tell that was going to be the Chief's upcoming request.

Peggy almost didn't want to say it, but she did. Anything could help. "What if George is involved? His sudden appearance yesterday was no coincidence, I'm sure. He could somehow be involved in this whole case."

Shockingly, Jack nodded along. "I mentioned to Tiffany that he might be involved. We should go with that angle. All right..."

Jack grabbed his coat and hat from his office, then came back out and faced everyone. "Listen up!" Whoever wasn't already looking at him turned to do so. "One of our own agents, Agent Tiffany Jones has been grabbed. We don't know by who exactly, but we have two suspects: Derek Peters and George... whatever."

Peggy started going around showing the photo they had of Derek Peters as Jack kept on. "They drove off in a black sedan," he said, then rattled off the license plate that Peggy wrote down. Each agent wrote it all down and took a good, long look at Peters' picture.

As Jack looked around the office, he saw agents ready to find their missing coworker. He knew she wasn't the most popular at first, being new and a woman, but Tiffany Jones had done a fantastic job of showing the SSR how good she was. Plus, once people (like himself) warmed up to her, they saw how good a person she is.

"Put aside all your other cases. As of right now, we are to find Agent Jones and bring her back unharmed. These men have been waiting for their chance for a while and they finally got it. Let's make them regret it."

There was no battle cry, as this is an office, but there was an air of determination that filled everyone and the room. Each agent had a revitalized purpose and walk as they left the office, pairing off with usual partners and going out.

Jack had no idea where to start, but luckily Peggy did. "We'll canvas the surrounding blocks first, check her apartment, and then work out from there. We'll find her, Jack. We will."

He looked at Peggy Carter with fear. "Promise?" he asked.

Suddenly, to Peggy, he was a scared boy. The same scared boy she saw in Russia. So, she nodded. "I do."

Then, in the blink of an eye, Peggy saw Jack's face turn to anger. He pulled out his gun to ensure it was loaded before putting it back.

"I never should have let her be on this case."

A/n: Okay, so this is very short, but it's because I wanted to have that 3rd person POV to show some aftermath without it being like "Peggy told me this happened" or something.

Maybe you'll forgive me with the next chapter (but also, there's a good chance you won't lol)
