(A/N: good evening shes, theys, and gays! I'm so sorry for the long awaited update, but the next chapter is finally here! I hope you enjoy this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it :3)

"Today's training will be a little different." Shota said as he stood at the front of the classroom. "You'll have three instructors. Me, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you."

Most of the class gives curious and excited gasps. Atlas didn't seem all that interested, though. He was too busy doodling in his notebook to act surprised. "Sir? What kind of training is this?" Hanta asked, suddenly raising his hand up.

"Rescue." Answered Shota. "You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that."

"Disasters, huh? Sounds like we're in for a big workout..." Denki smirked at Mina, who responded with, "totally!"

"Real hero stuff! This is what separates the men from the boys." Eijirou said with a grin. "I'm shaking with excitement!"

"What about you, Atlas?" Izuku asked, turning to face his classmate with a curious glance. "What do you think about all this?"

Atlas' eyes flickered up before looking back down at his paper. "I dunno." He murmured, almost shyly. Izuku raised an eyebrow.

"Is something wrong?" He said with a slightly concerned tone. "You sound... I don't know, sad?"

Atlas sighed softly, straightening his posture and setting his pencil down. "I suppose I am a bit disappointed..."

"Disappointed? Why?" Izuku asked in confusion.

"I'm not allowed to participate in today's training activities." He muttered, rolling eraser shavings between his fingers. "My father forbade it."

The class falls into shocked silence. His dad forbade it? Why!? Well, that was the exact same question to be asked next.

"Why won't your dad let you join in?" Eijirou asked incredulously.

"He thinks it's too dangerous." Atlas replied.

"But... this is the hero course?" Said Denki. "If he didn't want you doing "dangerous" stuff, why did he even enroll you in the hero course in the first place?"

"He felt the most comfortable with me in it." He explained , though there was a small hint of bitter helplessness in his voice. "There would be actual pro hero's there to monitor me while-"

"What are you, a damn science experiment?" Katsuki scoffed loudly and gained the class' attention. "Why the hell do you need to be "monitored"? You're sixteen years old. You can take care of your damn self."

"Bakugo, I know you're just trying to get your point across, but is there really such a necessity to use such profound language?!" Tenya scolded, chopping his arm in the air. He then sighed and sat back down. "I'm sure Mr. Supernova has his reasons. But I must agree, Atlas. You are old enough to be your own. Why is your father so persistent on having someone by your side?"
