after school was over, jordan sat in the parking lot, patiently waiting for her mother.

i gotta tell you something...jordan looks at her phone, a bit scared for herself. michael seemed serious. she bit her lip and sighed heavily. her phone starts to ring, she swipes her phone to answer and hears her mother's voice.
"hey j."
"mother, where are you?" jordan asks, frowning.
"yeah, about that... i can't pick you up." her mother spills.
jordan groans. "seriously mom? what happened?"
"work. the dumb ass who was supposed to relieve me didn't come. so i'm still working until the next reliever comes." jordan feels bad for her mother.
"alright, i'll just go home with michael."
just as she pokes the red button, hanging up on her mother, michael walks into the parking lot.
he sees her and a small smile is placed on his serious face. he walks up to her. he looks down and she looks up.
"hey." he squats down, sitting on the curb with her.
"hey." she looks at his emerald green eyes and smiles.
michael leans back, looking up at the sky. he doesn't know how to tell jordan that he told the others about her condition. he presses his lips together, he could feel his heart pounding against his chest. he just hopes that jordan can't hear it.
"what is it that you wanted to tell me, michael?"
there it is. michael knew that she was gonna ask that.
"i... i uh..." he stutters.
"i told the guys." he states simply.
she frowns.
"i told them about your condition..."
her frown deepens, her mouth agape and her eyes widen.
"what? why? they didn't need to know that!" jordan exclaims.
michael flinches. he's not used to jordan raising her voice. he squeezes his eyes close. "i'm sorry!" he yells back.
jordan stops yelling once she hears michael's raised voice. she's heard it, many times before, but not like this.
"calm down alright! they really like you! they don't care about your condition!!" michael yells again.
"but what if i didn't want them to know?!" she yells back.
michael has no response. he stands up, huffing and rolling his eyes.
"i'm sorry jeez. at least they care about you..." michael says under his breath.
jordan plays with a pebble and pouts. she didn't mean to be mean and bitchy, it's just that she didn't want the boys to know about her condition just yet. but hey, they needed to find out some day. michael just did it for her. she was thankful for him, but she was just so angry.
"it's alright..." jordan mumbles.
michael looks down, "huh?"
"it's alright." she talks a little louder.
michael cups his ear. "wha? what was that i didn't hear that!"
jordan throws the pebble she was playing with at michael's forehead.
"it's alright, you douche!" she yells, smiling.
michael smiles. jordan stands up.
"hey, can i get a ride home?" jordan looks at her bestfriend.
"yeah of course." michael replies.
jordan grabs her bag and the pair starts to walk.
"sorry for yelling at you." jordan says quickly.
michael gives her a slight shove. "it's okay. i understand."
michael wraps his arm around her shoulder. she smiles. they walk to the black volkswagen, with the tinted windows. michael opens the door, unlocking the entire car. jordan sits in the passengers seat and places on her seatbelt.
"can't wait till i get my driver's license. i'm tired of asking for rides. i want someone to ask me for a ride!" jordan groans.
michael sits in the driver's seat, buckling his seatbelt and places his key in ignition and moves the gear shift to reverse.
"you don't like driving with me?" michael pouts.
the car goes backwards and jordan just laughs.
"i do. i just want you to ask me for a ride!" she groans.
as michael is back enough, he shifts the gear back into drive and starts his journey towards his house.
"or i could go on a road trip!" jordan shouts, causing michael to laugh.
michael rolls his eyes. "and when will this road trip happen?"
jordan rolls down her window and leans out of it.
"i don't know. let's just think about now. when the times comes, it'll happen."
the wind blows her hair back and she just smiles at her words.
michael stops at a red light and just stares at his friend. she's such an interesting piece of work and he's glad to be her friend.
