Chapter XLV: Joint Training

Life became somewhat normal the next day after returning to UA. Sasuke sat at the large lunch table with everyone while slowly eating. He thought, 'Danzo, Sasori, Deidara... all dead. All that's left is AFO himself. Kurogiri is also in Tartarus with him, but he's not as important...' Sasuke narrowed his eyes, 'What are you waiting for? I know things won't end in that prison.'

Kirishima had stars in his eyes, "Endeavor was so manly out there earlier!"

Kaminari said, "Was he copying All Might's pose?"

Midoriya chipped in, "No, All Might did it with his left hand."

At the other end of the table, Mina asked Hagakure, "Hey, what you mentioned before about checking out a new dancing game at the arcade... I'm down now."

The other girls turned to her and Hagakure asked, "Are you sure?"

Mina rubbed the back of her head, she replied softly, "Yeah... I gotta start getting out more.

Tenten visited Mina later that day, and things slowly returned more and more to normalcy over the week until the day of Joint Training arrived.

The whole class met outside on one of the UA training grounds that imitated an industrial site. Hagekure wore only gloves and boots, "I'm so pumped for this!"

Jiro asked, "Aren't you cold?"

"Freezing!"

Mina sported a fur collar and puffed it, "My winter style is pretty cool."

A lot of the students discussed their own suit changes while Class B approached them. Monoma said, "Slacking off, are we? Is that your way of underestimating us?"

Kirishima replied, "Oh they're here! Nope, just excited."

"Oh is that so? Too bad for you... the tides are rolling in our favor now. Hear me Class A! Today is the day we settle this rivalry!" Monoma posed like he was a British vampire in front of the rest of his class.

He continued to yell manically while pulling out a paper, "Check out this survey I took at the Cultural Festival! What did people prefer? Class A's rinky dink concert or Class B's high-quality theatrical production? Well, take a look!"

Kirishima squinted at it, "We lost by one entire vote?"

Jiro said, "Well, we didn't see their show, so we can't argue with it."

Kaminari blurted out, "These results gotta be more rigged than a Jake Paul boxing match!"

Monoma laughed and shook his head, "Don't be sore losers! You've been hugging the spotlight like pigs ever since school started, but those days are coming to an end! Because today it's A vs B! Our first joint bat—"

Bandages wrapped around his throat and Aizawa stated, Quiet you. We have a special guest today, so try not to make fools of yourselves. He's hoping to transfer to the hero course."

The new student walked up the stairs and Midoriya smiled seeing him. Aizawa continued, "It's Hitoshi Shinso from Class C of General Studies."

Sasuke gave him a look over, 'Didn't he mind control me back then?'

Aizawa told Shinso, "Go ahead, introduce yourself."

"I had encounters with several of you during the Sports Festival, but don't think we're friends just because we fought. I'm not the type for good displays of sportsmanship... and I'm already so far behind, so I'm doing everything I can to keep up. I'll be a great hero and help people one day, so all of you are just obstacles to overcome. I'm not here to make friends."

Uraraka said, "How... delightful."

Sero said, "Reminds me of pre-upgrade Todoroki."

Monoma said, "I like this guy."
