The moment the door shut behind Maloi and the others, Aiah let out a long, exhausted sigh, pressing her forehead against the cool wood. "Oh my god," she muttered, letting her body slump against the door. "I need new friends."

From the bathroom, Mikha peeked out cautiously, her eyes scanning the now-empty apartment. "Coast is clear?"

Aiah turned to glare at her, arms crossed. "No thanks to you! Ano bang nangyari sa loob?!"

Mikha stepped out sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck. "Babe, I panicked. I tried hiding behind the curtain, but I slipped on the soap bottle," she muttered.

Aiah groaned, dragging a hand down her face. "Swear, Mikha, kung nahuli tayo, patay talaga ako kay Maloi!"

Mikha grinned, walking over and wrapping her arms around Aiah's waist, pulling her in. "Pero hindi tayo nahuli," she murmured, pressing a soft kiss to Aiah's temple. "Mission accomplished."

Aiah sighed but melted into Mikha's embrace anyway, resting her head against her girlfriend's shoulder. "Barely. Maloi's chismosa instincts are too sharp. I think she smells something fishy."

Mikha chuckled, resting her chin on Aiah's head. "Babe, I think she knows something's up but is just waiting for confirmation."

Aiah groaned. "Ugh. Ano ba kasi naisip natin na i-secret-secret 'to?"

Mikha pulled back, lifting Aiah's chin with a finger. "Because it's more fun?" she teased, smirking. "Besides, you love the thrill."

Aiah rolled her eyes but couldn't help the small smile tugging at her lips. "I did love the thrill... until my friends started showing up unannounced like some SWAT team."

Mikha grinned, walking them backward until Aiah's back hit the door. "Well," she murmured, pressing light kisses along Aiah's jaw, "at least now we have the place to ourselves again."

Aiah shivered at the feeling, her hands instinctively gripping Mikha's shirt. "Mikha..." she sighed, half-exasperated, half-pleased. "Babe, I am exhausted."

Mikha hummed, lips trailing down to Aiah's neck. "Hmm. Let me help you relax then?"

Aiah let out a breathy laugh, tilting her head to the side. "I swear, ikaw yung totoong peligro sa buhay ko."

Mikha grinned against her skin. "You wouldn't have it any other way."

Aiah groaned in surrender, letting Mikha take the lead as they stumbled toward the bedroom.

Aiah lay sprawled across the bed, tangled in the sheets, staring at the ceiling with a dazed expression. "Okay," she muttered, glancing at Mikha, who lay beside her with a smug grin. "I take it back. Maybe this secret thing does have its perks."

Mikha laughed, rolling onto her side to face her. "Told you."

Aiah playfully shoved her. "But seriously, bub... how much longer do you think we can keep this up?"

Mikha propped herself up on her elbow, studying Aiah's face. "I don't know," she admitted, brushing a strand of hair from Aiah's face. "I mean, we're kinda obvious na, but... it's still our thing, you know?"

Aiah sighed, lacing their fingers together. "Yeah... but Maloi's not gonna let this go. You saw how she was today."

Mikha grinned mischievously. "Then maybe we should mess with them a little longer."

Aiah groaned, burying her face into the pillow. "You're evil."

Mikha kissed her bare shoulder. "And you love it."
