Chapter 1: Preparations and Reminder

I was in Carlisle's office for a full physical check up. Carlisle still hadn't figure out what was wrong with me even though I knew what was wrong. Ever since I came into this house, Carlisle had taken four miles of blood out of me.

"Well you are healthy," he said to me. I gave him a nod. "Although, I still haven't figured out your blood. It's nothing bad. I just need more time to figure it out," he said to me. "That's a relief. I thought I had cancer or something," I said to him.

He shook his head. "If it was cancer, I would have known it in an instant," he said to me. "That's true," I said to him. "I am looking at every resource that I can. You may go now," he said to me. I got off from the examination chair and walked out of his office.

I walked to the front of the house to see Jasper and Emmett coming back from their "scavenger hunt" for wedding benches. The benches actually looked great. Jasper looked up at me and gave me a smile. I smiled and waved at him.

I walked over to him to watch him put the benches in place. He turned around and opened him arms. I gave him a hug. I could hear him put a bit."How did the check up go?" he asked me. I pulled away and looked up at him.

"It went fine," I said to him with a smile. He gave me a nod. "What about your blood?" he asked me. He had been concern about my blood since my very first check up. I caressed his cheek. "He hadn't found anything yet," I said to him.

I pulled me into his arms again. "I hope it's nothing too serious. I can't lose you if it's something bad," he said to me. "I know but, everything is fine Jasper. Nothing is wrong with me. I promise," I said to him. He let out a shaky sigh.

I let go of his cheek and made my way to my room. Once in my room, I walked over to the computer to see if I had any emails from my brother. I had been keeping him updated on Bella and her wedding. He knew that she would be turned soon.

I saw a new email. I clicked on the email to see what it said.

Dear Beverly,

I hope you are doing alright. Things are a bit hectic here with other nomad vampires coming in and out of our territory. Some of them were very kind enough to us some information on certain issues. I won't get to that with you since you have other things to worry about.

So I have been talking with our coven and we decided that you need to continue to keep close eye on Bella until she transform. Remind her of keeping our identity a secret. I know that you trust her with it. I don't mind.

Remember, I don't want you to reveal your identity to your mate and the rest of the family yet. I have a feeling that we will be meeting them sometime next year. I hope to see and meet your mate soon so that he can go through the trial.

The kids miss you and hope to see you soon.

Knock....knock......

I turned my head towards the door to see Bella. I gave her a smile. "Hiding from Alice?" I asked her. She gave me a nod. I saw her close the door behind her. "You came at a perfect time. I need to discuss with you about something," I said to her.

I gestured her to sit on the bed. She walked over to the bed and sat on it. I turned my chair around to face her. I remembered to put my reflective shield around us so that nobody heard our conversation. I needed to keep my identity a secret.

"I got a email from my brother. I need to remind you to remember to keep our identity as psychic vampire a secret," I told her. She gave me a nod. "You know that I wouldn't tell anyone your secret like I do for everyone here," she said to me.

I gave her a nod.

Knock....knock.....

"Beverly? Are you in there?" I heard Alice's voice. "Oh please no," I said out loud. The door opened to reveal Alice. "I thought we should try on some other clothes for the wedding," she said to me. I shook my head.

I got up from my chair and walked over to my closet to take out my navy blue dress. "Wouldn't this do," I said to her. She gave me a smile. "I think that will be good enough," she said to me. I let out a sigh of relief.

She looked at Bella. "You need to continue to break into those shoes young lady," she told her. I saw that the heals were way to long and thin. {There is no way that Bella is going to break into those shoes!}

After a while, Alice dragged Bella out of the room. I kind of felt bad for her. I looked out into the trees. {I should feed off some energy. I powers feel a big sluggish.} I changed my shoes and made my way down the stairs.

I walked into the living room to see Esme. "I'm going for a walk in the woods. I'll holler if I need anything," I said to her. She gave me a smile and a nod. I walked out of the house and into the woods.

As I walked into the woods. I touched the trees with my hands. I felt the energy flowing into me. I didn't dry the tree of it's energy. I just took a little and moved on to the next tree. It didn't hurt the tree much at all.

After a while, I felt a lot better. "That should do it," I said to myself. I felt very refreshed from feeding. I turned around to walk back home. As I was walking, I felt myself being lifted off the ground. "Woah!" I said out loud.

I looked down to see Emmett giving me a smirk. "Emmett. Let me down," I said to him. Next thing I knew, Emmett was running in vampire speed and had me over his shoulder. I had a feeling that I was going to be sick.

Soon, we were at the house and Emmett let me down to my feet. I felt very wobbly and nauseated. "I feel sick," I said. I could feel something coming up. I quickly ran up to my room and into the bathroom. I emptied my lunch in the toilet.

I felt my hair being lifted up. "Are you alright darlin?" I heard Jasper ask me. I gave him a nod. I got up and rinsed my mouth over the sink. Jasper gave me a towel. "Are you sure?" he asked me. I looked at him.

"Yeah. Just feel sick a bit from Emmett running vampire speed back to the house," I said to him. I swore that I heard Jasper growl. I had a feeling that he was mad at Emmett. "I'm fine Jasper. Don't worry," I said to him. He gave me a nod.

I gave him a hug so he could calm down. I felt him relax at my touch. "I'm going to go get Carlisle to check on you," I heard him say. "Fine," I said to him. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and made his way out of the room.

I walked over to the bed and laid on it.
