Chapter 6: Explain to Carlisle

The battle had ended with Jacob imprinting on Renesmee. Bella was safe. Jasper quickly made his way to Beverly's room to see Beverly in the bed. She was faced away from him. As he got closer, he smelled blood.

Jasper walked over to her and lift her in his arm. He saw blood seeping out at the corner of her mouth. "Carlisle!" he called out to him. Carlisle quickly came into the room to see the view. Everyone else came into the room.

"We need to take into the examination room," he said to him. Jasper followed him down the stairs to the office. Once inside, Jasper laid her on the examination table. Carlisle was checking her health and wiped the blood from her mouth.

"I don't know. I need more time," he said to him. Jasper stayed by her side.

Beverly's point of view.....

I opened my eyes to see Jasper and Carlisle. I couldn't keep my eyes open for very long. "How are you feeling?" Carlisle asked me. "Tired," I said to him. He gave me a nod. "You have been out for four days now," he said to me. {Four days!}

"How is Bella?" I asked her. "She's fine. She told us everything," he said to me. I let out a sigh. {I have so much explaining to do.} I felt Jasper squeeze my hand. "You can tell us everything later. You need your rest. By the way, may I see the book?" Carlisle asked me.

I looked at Jasper. "Go to my drawer and look in the blue box," I instructed him. Jasper got up and went to my drawer. He found the book and gave it to Carlisle. Carlisle took the book and started to read it.

Jasper fixed my blanket and I started to drift off to sleep.

I woke up feeling much better than yesterday. I got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom to take a quick shower. My body felt very ache for not moving for so long. Also, my body had a long way to go in recovery.

growl.......

I was very hungry. I wrapped myself in a towel and walked out of the door to see my clothes laid out on the bed. {Must be Alice.} I got dressed in some blue skin jeans, brown shoes, and a white sweater. I made sure that my hair was dried so that I didn't get sick.

I made my way out of my room to the kitchen to see Esme who was cooking eggs. She turned her head to give me a smile. "Good morning," she said to me. I returned the smile. "Good morning Esme," I said to her.

She set a plate of eggs, toast, and orange juice. I ate everything. My stomach felt very comfortable. "Where is Jasper?" I asked her. "He should be outside," she said to me. "Okay. I think I'm going to find Carlisle. I bet he have questions for me," I said.

I got up and walked to Carlisle's office. I knocked on his door. "Come in," I heard. I walked inside to see him still reading the book. He looked up at me. "How are you feeling?" he asked me. "I feel a bit tired but, I'm fine overall," I told him.

He gestured me to sit in front of him. I sat in my seat. "I have much to ask you," he told me. "I bet you do," I said to him. "So your blood relates to who you really are," he said to me. I gave him a nod. "I'm sorry for not telling you. I was sworn to secrecy," I honestly said to him.

He gave me a nod. "Do you feed off of human energy?" he asked me. I shook my head. "No. I feed off of nature. I prefer eating real food than energy though. I feed on nature when I need the energy to protect myself," I explained to him.

"You are immortal?" he asked me. "Yes. I'm still growing though. I will stop aging in a couple years," I said to him. He gave me a nod and opened the book. I could see that he got through three-fourths of the book.

"You are from a leading family of psychic vampires. That's interesting," he said to me. I gave him a smile. "My memory was of being a psychic vampire was sealed by my mother before she was killed. I don't know who though," I explained to him.

I watched him flip the pages to a single word. "What is this?" he asked me. "That was the word to unlock my memory. The book was sealed in a vault at a Texas bank. After getting my memories back, I went to my brother who lived in California," I said my story.

Carlisle and I spoke for over an hour.

Knock...knock....

We turned our head toward the door to see Jasper there. I looked back at Carlisle. "We can talk later," he said to me. I gave him a nod and made my way over the Jasper. In an instant, he wrapped his arms around me.

"How are you feeling?" he asked me. "Tired a bit but fine," I said to him. Jasper guided me to the living room. There, I saw Edward, Bella, Rosalie, Jacob, and a little baby. {Awww. So cute,} Edward turned his head towards us.

"Hello Beverly," he said to me. I gave him a smile. "Hi. Is that the baby?" I asked him. He gave me a nod. Bella gave me a smile. I made my way over to Bella and the baby. The baby looked a lot bigger than a newborn baby.

"Hi," I said to the baby. The baby giggled a bit. "What's your name?" I asked. "Her name is Renesmee," Edward said to me. "So it's a girl," I said to him. Bella seemed to be controlling her thirst considering that she was a newborn.

"Can I hold her?" I asked her. She gave me a nod and passed me Renesmee. Luckily, she didn't bite me or anything. She was the cutest thing that I had ever seen besides my niece and nephew. She was half vampire and half human.

"Okay. That's enough," I heard Jacob said. I looked up at him. "I'm not going to hurt her Jake. I don't even have blood feeding vampire strength," I said to him. He looked really annoyed. Jasper looked a bit mad.

"Jasper. Calm down," I said to him. He gave me a nod. After a while, I decided to go up to my room to rest a bit more. I gave Renesmee back to Bella and made my way back to my room. Once in my room, I decided to email my brother.

Dear Brent,

They know about me know. Bella is now a blood feeding vampire. She had daughter who is half human and half vampire. Her name is Renesmee. She is very cute. She is growing at a rapid pace from what I could see.

I hope to have you meet Jasper really soon. Tell the kids that I love them.

I clicked send. I felt much weight lifted off my shoulders. I didn't have to hide anything anymore.

Knock...Knock....

I turned to the door to see Jasper. "What were you doing?" he asked me. "Emailing my brother. You are going to need to face him soon," I said to him. He gave me a nod. He pulled me into his arms. "I love you," he said to me.

I pulled away and looked at him. "I love you too," I said to him. He was about to kiss me when my phone ranged. I gave him an apologetic look and answered the phone. "Hello?" I said through the phone. I heard whining.

"Auntie Beverly!"
