Emily's Pov:

I found myself sitting on a park bench wiping my tears away. I look up at the night sky. The stars twinkled as the moon glistened down on the fountain that stood in the middle of the park.

"Whats wrong with me" I mumble.

""I'm nothing. I can't do anything right. I just make things worst," I pause and think to myself. If I do everything wrong then what's the point of me being here? If I'm nothing then why did God put me on this planet?

"Maybe I should just die. Nobody would care" Unless......Oh who am I kidding... Anna Kendrick will never adopt me..... She wouldn't want a child like me...Heck I don't even know if she wants kids....damn...this is fucking pathetic.

I burst out laughing earning a few stares from random people. They must think I'm crazy. Laughing for no reason. I don't care. Let them think what they want because in a matter of time I won't be here to even care about them....or anything.

Anna's Pov:

"I've missed this" I confess as I walk Brittany up at the front of her house.

"Yea..me too"

As she puts her keys in the door handle I began walking away.
"Wait" she says. I stop and turn around. I watch as she pulls me into a hug. "I've missed you so much" she whispers.

My eyes close as I smile. I wrapped my arms around her holding hold tight as if it was the last time I'll see her. "I've missed you too"

I pull back already missing the warmth of her body pressed up against mine.

"I'll see you tomorrow" Her eye brows knitt together. "You know at work. On the set of Pitch Perfect 2"

"Oh. Right yea"She nervously laughs. I smile at her. She smiles back.

"Goodnight Britt"

"Goodnight Anna"

I start walking home, but went a different way this time. I'm not really sure which way I'm going because I end up in the middle of a park next to a fountain. I look around and found a bench. It wasn't empty though. It was occupied by a small girl with her head down. I tilt my head to the side. What is a little girl doing here this late at night?

I wasn't sure if I should go over there or not. However, if I don't something horrible could happen...then again they could be here and just wondering around. Still though. They shouldn't leave their kid alone. I take a deep breath and head over there.

"Hey. Can I sit here?"I ask politely.

She doesn't look up, she just shakes her head yes. She shifts over and I sit down. I notice that she had a backpack with her. That's weird. I don't say anything. All I do is look around. There were barely any people here. Maybe four at the most, if I don't count myself or the girl. A few minutes passed and two people left. I began to worry. Where are her parents?

More time passes and the other two people left. It was just me and her. I need to get going, but I can't just leave her here alone. I sigh and turn to face her.

"Where are your parents?"I ask. She says something except I don't hear anything.

"What?" She lifts her head up, however she looks the other way then at me.

"I said that they're not here they're a-at h-home. I just come h-here when I n-need some -f-fresh a-air"

By the way she talked the tone in her voice sounded like she was crying. "Are you ok?"I questioned.
