You hold your breath as the cave door suddenly slams shut. Your hands hold your crossbow tightly and your gaze falls on Cyno. He was not at all bothered by the fact that you two were stuck here.

"C-cyno..." you whisper under your breath.

The man immediately turned around. He looked at you with some confusion. "What's wrong?"

"The cave door suddenly closed!" you say in a slight panic.

Cyno chuckles. "Just relax. There must be a way out."

You decide to trust Cyno. After all, your crush wouldn't take you to a bad place. You walk behind Cyno with some trepidation.

After walking for a while, for some reason you start to get pessimistic about Cyno's words. From the structure of this cave, for some reason it feels very difficult to find a way out.

"How come there seems to be no way out?" asks Cyno with a guiltless look.

"This is so you don't get cold, are you okay with me being like this?" asked Cyno and you shook your head.

"Thankfully there are no monsters here. So we can both sleep, no one needs to ask."

"Yes. It's also not too cold because of the tent," you said.

Both of you were silent for a while. Your heart is beating very hard and you desperately want to say those sacred words, but you feel tongue-tied.

"Cyno..." you whisper and Cyno immediately brings his face closer.

You squeezed your own hand and tried to laugh to make the atmosphere less tense. "Do you know that I like you?"

Cyno suddenly rounded his eyes and immediately turned your body around. Now the two of you are sitting face to face even though you can't see his eyes.

"You... Since when do you like me?" asked Cyno.

You swallowed. "Maybe about six months ago? I also don't understand why this feeling suddenly appeared," you grumble.

Cyno smiled a little. "I've always admired you, (Name). But I thought that a woman like you wouldn't want to be with a man like me. So I decided to bury my feelings deep."

"Wh-what? Why did you think that?" you ask in surprise.

"Well... You're just too perfect..." Cyno said while tidying up your hair.
