Like what's expected, I arrive at the gym at 5am sharp, the empty gym. Since everyone here is already at an expert level, they don't feel the need to start this early, which is good since they also don't need to see my weak fighting style.
Dylan is late as always, and the 20 minutes he takes to get here I use to stretch a little, and run around the gym for a bit. While I'm drinking water I hear footsteps "Finally" I said.
Dylan scrunches up his nose and adjusts his bag "I can't come here looking all messed up. Did you have any sleep Fauna?"
I completely forgot that he doesn't know about my food problem, and that the only food I've had to eat is from the cantene, which I don't eat a lot since I'm afraid of it being poisoned, between that and getting adjusted to the early mornings, I would be lying if I said it's not taking a toll on me "I'm great, can we start?"
He gives me a skeptycal look, however he knows I won't buldge no matter how much he insists, he takes a deep breath then positions himself "Yes" he said, laying his bag on the floor
"What I've noticed from the past few days is that you try to do every move at once. Today we're trying to decide which one to use at the right moment" "You already know what to start with"
"Depends"
"Good" "If I was like this" He steps infront of me and positions himself, lifting his chin a little "What would you do?"
"Hit you straight on the throat"
"Correct. Do it as fast as you can so they won't have time to react"
I swing at his throat, not touching it "Like this?"
"Correct. Wait, are you alright?"
"Yes, why do you ask?"
"You just swong at me and you're already panting"
"What do you mean?" I ask, trying to look like I can see him instead of the random splots of color that just appeared infront of me.
"Get some sleep, training ends early today"
"What-"
"Go to sleep Fauna, see you in a few hours" Dylan said before heading out the door.

The gym is bright and white, brighter than the one I trained in earlier, the lights almost blind me on the spacey gym, with a few protection tools highlighted in a corner, guns, arrows, daggers.
Crossbows.
But what really gets my eye is the crowd inside the gym, they look older by a few years, they're probably third years, all in a crowd looking straight ahead of us. I examine them carefully, trying to decipher what their intentions are. One of them is tall, at least 6'2, and he's got a shaved head, his eyebrow is unintentionally split in half by a scar that starts in his forehead and ends right above the eye, his eyes are ocean blue, like a husky as he stares atently at us. He gets a pat on his back by another boy, a little shorter but equally as strong, with tanned skin and brown curls that frame his face but don't hide his amused expression upon seeing us, however, when my eyes land on the third member, my jaw almost drops to the floor.
He's tall, that's the first thing I notice, basically towers over them and definetly the strongest, his muscles are evident through his black compressed shirt as he crosses his arms, his skin is white as porcelan which contrasts with his jet black hair that frames his face in a way that looks intentional, but I can tell it's far from it, his sharp almond eyes cut like a knife as he scanned the room, with a gaze that lingered on me no longer than a second before he landed on Dylan, not hiding his dissaproving and dismissing attitude towards us, I can almost forgive him since he's so attractive.
