Nummskull stands there with some gaudy-looking shorts on.

Nummskull: (Happy) Skull.

Gusty Bones: Sorry, hijo. I don't think they meant those kinds of shorts.

Nummskull: (Sad) Skull.

Gutsy Bones: But I like them.

Nummskull: (Happy) Skull.

It was your average day in good old, yo-kai-infested, Springdale. At a mall in Downtown Springdale, our pal, Panja Pupil, and her new assistant, Komajiro were seeing the sights.

Panja: Okay, Jiro, this is called an "Escalator."

Komajiro: Woah- What's it do?

Panja: It's when people want to go upstairs but don't want to walk.

Komajiro: Woah.

Komajiro turns around to see another device.

Komajiro: What's that?

Panja: That's an "El-a-vator." It's like an "Esc-a-lator" but instead it takes you up in a box that's operated by cables.

Komajiro: Oh my swirls, there's so many strange things around here. We hadn't anything like this in the country.

Panja: (This kid really is from the sticks) Well, not to worry, kid. That's why I'm here to teach you all about city life.

Panja walked and Jiro followed. She stepped onto the escalator and Komajiro could only watch as it took her up to the second floor. He hesitantly put one of his feet on the step only for him to stumble and fall as the escalator took him up to the second floor. Once the step took him up he slid off of it and right next to Panja.

Panja: Nice job for your first time. But next time you might wanna put both feet on the step.

Komajiro picked himself off the ground before hearing the sound of something hitting the floor. He looked back to see the smartphone that was supposed to be in his bag had slipped out.

Komajiro: I've been meaning to ask- (Picks up phone) What is this whatchamacallit?

Panja: That's a phone.

Komajiro: Wha-! This is a phone?!

Panja: Of course. It's able to call and message people from far away while making so your taxes increase.

Komajiro: We hadn't nothin' like this where I'm from.

Panja: That's a double negative, kid.

Komajiro: (She's so strange but she's very "street smart")

These two are as opposite as they come. Their dynamic is far away from Signibble and Draggie, who are as close as can be, or Y/N and Lie-in, who have grown to be close friends. These two have little to no experience at all.

Panj/Jiro: (Hopefully, he's/she's not thinking about how weird I am. That'd be the worst)

As they walked through the store, Komajiro spotted something he had never seen before through a store window, a piece of wood with wheels attached to it. He didn't know what it was but for some reason, Jiro wanted it more than anything he had ever wanted. Wondering if Panja Pupil would buy it for him he turned to her.
