The boy looked around for his Yo-kai friend, but he was nowhere to be found. He walks towards a hole in the wall before crouching down.
Y/N: Tyrat, have you seen Lie-in?
Tyrat: [Peeking out of the hole] Uh...nope.
Y/N: Some good you are.
Tyrat: Maybe he left a note. Let's search the place.
The two then began to turn the house upside down--- not literally, you dorks ---to find out where Lie-in went. Only to find ne'er a clue. To stifle his confusion, Y/N checked the fridge.
Y/N: AAAAAAAAAAAHH!!
Tyrat: What?
Y/N: There's still food in here!
Tyrat: Good grief... Wait! What about his Yo-kai Pad?
Y/N: Good thinking.
After Tyrat hopped onto the kid's shoulder, Y/N dashed upstairs and into his room to search for Lie-in's Yo-kai Pad. Finding it on his desk table, Y/N picked it up before searching through the emails.
Y/N: Let's see... Unfunny jokes from Compunzer... 7 ways to have good luck from Noko... New recipes from Master Oden... Pictures of shadow puppets from Dimmy...saved... Oh, here's something. "Attention, Yo-kai Lie-in, you have been- blah, blah, blah- and shall be sent to B-Bay where you will serve you're country."
Tyrat: Oh no! Not B-Bay!
Y/N: What's B-Bay?
Tyrat: Haven't you seen the news? That's where a big Yo-kai war is happening!
Y/N: A war?! Oh, geez, we've gotta get him outta there!
Quickly, Y/N dove into the book that held all of his Yo-kai Medals, the Yo-kai Medallium, and grabbed Lie-in's medal.
Y/N: Calling on Lie-in! Yo-kai Medal, go!
But when he inserted the medal, nothing happened. No light, no catchy song, no Lie-in.
Y/N: Uh, what?
He pulled it out before inserting it again ---nothing still.
Tyrat: It's worse than I thought! B-Bay is a place where he can't be summoned; the airwaves are too thick to get the summoning through.
Y/N: What?! You mean Lie-in's been drafted in a war where he can't get out?!
-Meanwhile
Lie-in: I'm where?!
Currently, Lie-in was on a transport boat in combat fatigues, surrounded by lots of other Yo-kai. The rough waves rocked the boat, and the harsh rainstorm made it almost unbearable, and the frosty temperature didn't help either.
Lie-in: How did I get here? Where even is here?!
???: Here is where we make our final stand, soldier!
Turning his head, Lie-in spied a Yo-kai ordering others around. Only it was one Yo-kai he hoped he'd never meet face to face.
Lie-in: Gah! You're-!
???: That's right, soldier!
