It was the uncertainty, the smell of the hospital and the waiting that almost drove Jimin out of his mind.

He walked up and down the corridor, repeatedly running his fingers through his hair.

"JIMMIIINNN!" he heard Dae's voice call him, and he spun around, knelt down and welcomed his son into his arms.

"Gosh!" he whispered, burying his face against that little neck and Dae's small hands clutched at him.

"Are you all right?" he asked Dae, who nodded . " Is Mommy sick?"

"I'm sure she'll be fine . I'm sure of it."

"Uncle Jungkook said that too."

"Because he's right, okay?" Jimin straightened up when he saw Jungkook and lifted Dae into his arms.

" He's fine. He doesn't have a scratch. Any news from Suri yet?" Jungkook asked.

Jimin shook his head no and sat down on one of the chairs in the corridor. "She'll be fine!" he repeated and kissed the top of Dae's head.

Jungkook sat down next to him. He put his arms on his knees and sighed. " I won't stand in your way. I got it! But I swear , I have nothing to do with Maya."

Jimin huffed. Somehow he couldn't be angry with Jungkook. They were both in the same boat.

" You were Yong's favorite!" Jungkook said and looked at Jimin. " I saw you so many times at the club. Then I saw her! "

Jungkook leaned back and played with his fingers. " Yong called me that night. He wanted me to run some errands for him. She was standing at the entrance of the club. Gosh, I was immediately into her. She was so beautiful, sexy . She looked perfect. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of her...I didn't know who she was and when I saw you with her...how you kissed her cheek and how her eys sparkled...I was jealous and in love. "

Neither of them said another word and each was lost in their own thoughts.

It felt like an eternity before a doctor or nurse arrived.

Meanwhile, Dae had fallen asleep on Jimin's lap and Honey and Jong-Hun were still at the police station to make their statements.

Jimin no longer wasted his thoughts on Yong or Maya, instead he thought about what to do next.

She kissed him a few hours earlier and he wished at that moment that time would stand still. He wanted to hold her in his arms, fall asleep with her at night and wake up in the morning. Dae would jump around on the bed.

"Jimin?" A hand touched him gently on his shoulder and when he looked up, he saw Honey.

"It's just taking too long!" he said quietly.

" Give me Dae . Go get something to eat or get a coffee!" Honey sat down with him and took the sleeping child out from his arms.

"I'm not leaving here!" he replied.
