GETTING UP FROM YOUR DESK, YOU made your way out your office and towards the art room downstairs. You hadn't seen Armin pretty much all day, besides breakfast and he wasn't in his office so you assumed he was up in there. Quietly opening the door, you peeked your head in and saw him exactly where you thought he would be— sitting in front of a painting on his stool. You watched him for a moment, watching as he stared at the canvas before dipping his brush into a golden yellow color and swiping over the canvas. He always looked comfortable painting. When you first moved in and Cecil told you he painted, you were fairly surprised. He always seemed so.. nonchalant and basic, honestly.

But, you were glad you were proven wrong.

In reality, he was one of the most creative people you knew. Walking up behind him, you sneakily wrapped your arms around his neck, kissing him on the cheek, "Shit, you scared me. Hi, love." He chuckled, looking over his shoulder at you, a smile present on your face. You laughed, "Sorry. What are you painting? I missed you." You spoke, letting him go and grabbing a stool, pulling it beside him. Armin looked at you before dragging his eyes back to the painting,

"I don't really know. I'm just doing whatever comes to mind." He shrugged.

The painting was a long, golden and white hallway, similar to the one in the castle, actually. The main showpiece seemed to be the large gold window that covered the walls from top to bottom, the clouds and scenery glowing through the hall. "Reminds me of the castle. It looks good." You complimented to which Armin gave a small smile.

As he smiled, you notice a tint of pink in his cheeks, causing your mouth to curve in a smirk. "Are you blushing?" You teased, laughing as Armin shook his head and grabbed your side,
tickling you. "Hey! You know tickling is off limits!" You yelled, laughing and trying to shove the blonde off you. Armin laughed before letting you go.

"I don't blush." He narrowed his eyes, seeing your smile still on your face. Just before you could argue back, the sound of a phone ringing disrupted your thoughts. Looking over,
you noticed it was Armin's phone.

Grabbing the phone off the table beside you, you looked at the caller ID, "Why's Alessandra calling you?" You questioned, your brows scrunched in confusion as you looked at his phone. Armin's brows raised before he snatched his phone from you.

"I need to answer this." Was the only words he said before he walked into the hallway outside the room. Your eyes lingered on the door he left out of, confused.
