Chris' P.O.V
When I woke up the next morning I went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I walked downstairs and my mom and dad weren't home. As I walked into the kitchen I saw note on the refrigerator:
Chris i'll be home later on tonight but your dad should be home before me,so I love you see you later. ~Mom.
"Great" I thought to myself. I opened the fridge to find something to eat. I was to lazy to make anything, so I grabbed a yogurt and put some granola in it. As I put the spoon full of yogurt in my mouth I heard a noise coming from my backyard. Looking out the door there was nothing there. "I must be paranoid!" I thought. I went into the living room to turn on the T.V. There was nothing on as I kept flipping through channels. I finally found one of my favorite shows on "teen wolf."
After eating I walked up to my room to change. I grabbed my high waisted shorts and a loose crop top from my closet. Once I was ready I heard a knock on the front door. I rushed to the door to see who it was. "Grayson and Ethan, huh!" I said. As I opened the door I heard both of them said "hey" simultaneously. "Hey, so if you guys want you can just walk through that door and I'll meet you guys in the back." I said. They nodded and said sure. I went to grab my shoes from my room and then a few water bottles from the fridge. "So where's you mom?" Grayson said as I walked outside. "She at work so I got the whole house to myself." I replied while laughing. As I said that Ethan was riding his penny towards me. "So....where's your penny at?" He asked. I pointed in the direction of my pink penny board with blue wheels. While I hoped on my penny I seen grayson hooking up his phone to the stero system in my backyard, he played My Way.
After I learned some new tricks we were all tried, so we went inside. "Hey do you guys wanna watch a movie?" I asked. "Sure, I could use a laugh!" Ethan said while smiling. As I played the movie "Napoleon dynamite" we all found our spots on the couch, but then my dad walked in. "Chris, I'm home!" He said. "Hey dad, these are my friends Ethan and Grayson." I said. "Oh, hi boys." He said while untying his tie. "Hello!" The twins said simultaneously. "Hey I'm gonna get some snacks!" I said.
As I walked into the kitchen my dad followed. "So Ethan and Grayson seem like nice boys!" He said. "Ya they're cool. I mean their my only friends in this damn neighborhood." I muttered. I looked in the pantry to find a bag of chips and a big bowl. "Dad I'll be fine. I know how you are just because their boys." I said while holding the bowl in one hand and three sodas in the other. I placed the bowl and drinks on the table and Ethan and Grayson dove in.
It was near the end of the movie when I heard my dad from the kitchen. "Hey kiddo, you wanna order take out?" He asked. "OMG yes, yes I do." I replied. Grayson and Ethan were laughing at me when I turned back. "What?" I asked, but no answer. "Oh, hey dad can Ethan and grayson stay for dinner?" I asked him. "Only if it's OK with their parents." He shouted from his office. Ethan paused the movie while Grayson called his mom. "Hey mom umm, Chris wants to know if Ethan and I could stay for dinner. Yay. OK, love you too. She said yes." He said while smiling.
It was around 7:30 when the food got here. We all sat at the dinning room table and just ate. It was kind of awkward considering the fact that my mom, dad, and I talk about our day. "Hey guys I'm home." My mother said as she walked through the door. When Ethan and grayson finished eating they decided to head home. "Thank you guys so much for the dinner!" Ethan said. "Ya, it was great." Grayson uttered. "I'll walk you guys out!" I said as I got up from my chair. As Ethan and Grayson walked out he house, I put my hands in my back pockets and said "thanks for the penny board lessons!" They both smiled and waved goodbye. "Night!" Ethan muttered. "Night Ethan, night Grayson!" I said while closing the door. "So, you've really gotten to know them, huh?"my mom said behind me. I looked at her, smiled, and nodded. "Hey uh, I'm gonna head up to bed I'm kinda tired, so night see you I the morning." I said while I yawned. "OK night honey, love you." My mother stated as she kissed my forehead.
As I entered my room I grabbed a change of clothes. Before I laid down I shut off my light and put on the lights around my beds headboard. I laid down and wrapped myself up in my fuzzy cover, then quickly started to doze off.
