Chris' P.O.V
I woke up the next morning ready for Ethan's and Grayson's fourth of July pool party. As I got up from my bed I went to my closet to see what I was going to wear. I picked out my high waisted shorts and a black crop top with white patterns on it. I went down stairs to see my mom in the kitchen making a salad and my dad in the living room watching t.v. "So, are you guys ready for the party later?" I asked. They both shook their head in agreement. I grabbed the usaul out of the refrigerator, some yogurt with granola.
I walked back up to my room, grabbed my clothes and swim suit, took a shower, and got dressed. When I walked out the bathroom I grabbed my converse in my room and slipped them on. "Hey mom I'm gonna go for a ride on my penny I'll be back later." I said as I put my phone in my pocket. I walked out the house into my backyard and grabbed my penny board. As I walked to the front of the house, I hopped on my board and rode off to Starbucks.
As I pulled up to the parking lot I got off my board and walked in. Surprisingly there was no line, so I walked right up. "Hello, welcome to Starbucks, what can I get you today?" The cashier said politely. "Ya, can I get a vinilla Frappuccino with whipped cream." I replied. "Sure thing, that'll be $2.96, please." She said while smiling. I grabbed my wallet out my back locket and handed her the $3. "Oh, you can keep the change!" I said as I grabbed my drink and wllked out. I got back on the board and rode back home.
When I pulled up in front I had seen Ethan, Grayson, and two other boys with them. "Hey guys!" I said and waved to them. "Oh, hey Chris!" Ethan said while blushing. I laughed at him and took another sip as I rode towards them. "Oh, I forgot to introduce you to our friends Aaron and Jack!" Grayson said motioning towards them. "Hey!" Jack said while Aaron just nodded his head. "OK, so I'm just gonna go back home and get ready, so I'll see you guys later." I said while looking at Ethan. As I rode off I could hear whispering behind me, but I didn't want to turn around.
It was 12:45pm when I came back home. I walked up the stairs and grabbed another one of my loose crop tops. "There, that's better!" I thought as I walked down stairs. I had seen my dad in the kitchen with a book load of fireworks. My eyes widened as he took out a huge rocket form the box. I walked up to him and asked "your gonna light this up tonight?" He looked at me and nodded his head. "Hey, you guys ready to party?" She asked with exitment. We all walked out over to Ethan's and grayson's house for the party. There were lots of people in the backyard pool. "Hey glad you guys could make it!" Lisa shouted. I gave a her a hug and she told me the boys we in Ethan's room. I nodded my head and thanked her.
As I walked in I put my hands in my back pockets and walked up the stairs. Look through each door I finally found it. "So...this is your man cave, huh?" I said as I looked at Ethan. "Ya, welcome to my room." He said as he pulled up a chair for me. "Do you want something to drink?" Ethan asked. "I'd like a water." I replied, and Ethan was out the door. "I just have to be the one to tell you this, bit Ethan likes you." Jack said. "I know, I could tell from the way he's been acting." I whispered as Ethan walked intp the room. He handed me the water bottle and asked what he had missed. "Nothing really." Aaron said.
A few hours later, we had all went outside to go swimming, but I just dipped my feet in. "Hey your not gonna come in?" Ethan asked. I looked at him and said "maybe later." I got up to go find my mom to talk to her, but there was no sign. "Hey Lisa have you seen my mom?" I asked. She had told me she was inside going to the bathroom. As I walked toward the bathroom I bumped into her. "Hey mom, I really need to talk to you." I muttered. "What is it honey?" She asked. "Ethan kind of likes me!" I said to her. "Oh, that's great news, well how to you feel back." She asked. "I like him too, I just don't know how to tell him." I answered. She looked at me and said "you'll know when the time comes."
As she walked out I went to the living room and sat on the couch. I was all alone, until I heard four teenage boys laughing. "Hey there she is!" Jack shouted. They all flopped on the couch next to me. "So, what do you guys wanna do know." Grayson asked. Everyone just shrugged their shoulders. "How about we watch T.V." Ethan suggested. We all muttered as grayson turned to a football game. We were all so into the game that we couldn't take our eyes off the screen.
After the game ended it was around 6:30pm. We all went outside to go light some fireworks. "So, our dad and chris' dad are going to light the bigger fireworks later for the show!" Grayson said. I grabbed a sparkler from the table and lit it with the grills fire. I just knew then this was one of the best days ever.
