Grayson P.O.V
The next morning Jack, Aaron, Ethan and I were in the front of the house riding our pennies, until we seen Chris come out and get the mail. She was in some black legging, boots, and a sweater. We all waved and motioned her to come over. She walked over, smiled, and said "I can't my cousin is here and." "you and your cousin should come over, we can take a swim." Ethan said cutting her off.
"Ya, um I'll be over in 10!" She said as she walked home. We all went inside to change and headed outside. I grabbed my speaker and shuffled my playlist. Aaron, Jack and I jumped in while Ethan was sitting at the edge.
A few minutes passed and Chris showed up with a guy who was taller then she was. "That must be her cousin." I said as I hopped out the pool. "Hey guys so this is my cousin Josh. Josh this is Aaron, Jack, Grayson, and Ethan." She said gesturing her hands. "Whats up?" I asked. "Nothing much, really. What about you?" He replied. "Just swimming with these guys, come on." I said as I jumped in, while Josh and the guys jumped in after.
Ethan's P.O.V.
Chris walked over and sat on the edge of the pool next to me. "Hey, eth!" She said "h-hey!" I replied with a toothy smile. "So why aren't you in the pool, I mean you the one who invited us over." She asked as she smiled. "Well I wasn't really feeling like it right away." She looked at me weird and said "suit yourself!" as she took off her muscle tee, shorts, and flip flops leaving her in a black two piece. I could help but stare at her. "Dammit Ethan stop looking at her she's gonna think your wierd" I thought. I turned my head to see the guys getting along with Josh. Suddenly I was splashed with the water. "Oh, your dead Chris." I said playfully. I jumped in and slashed her back. "Hey guys let's play chicken fight!" Aaron suggested. I looked at Chris "wanna be on my team?" I asked, she nodded. I helped her into my shoulders and she placed her hands on my head while laughing. Josh was on grayson's shoulders and Jack was on Aaron's. As we started, Josh pushed Jack off Aaron's shoulders.
"Look Josh, now it's you and me. Ready to get your butt kicked by a girl!" She said. Josh looked at her and laughed. They both tried to get each other off mine and Grayson's shoulders. Finally Chris pushed Josh off. "We are the champions!" I shouted as I leaned back. Chris and I both landed into the water. "Well that was fun." Jack laughed. "Josh, Christine, lunch is ready!" I heard. I looked at Chris and her face was as red as a strawberry. "Christine, huh?" I said with a chuckle. "Oh, shut up, come on Josh." She said laughing. "Hey after lunch do guys wanna come over and hang out?" Grayson asked. "Heck yeah!" Josh shouted. Chris grabbed her tee, shorts, flip flops, and walked back home with Josh. We continued to swim as they both left.
Chris' P.O.V.
As I walked inside, I seen my mom making our plates. "Hey mom I'm gonna take a shower really quick. I'll be back down to eat." As I went to my room I grabbed a loose crop top, black high waisted skinny jeans, and of course my bra and underwear. When I got out the shower, I changed, dried my hair with the towel, and combed it out. As I went downstairs I seen my mom placing my plate on the table. "Thanks mom!" I said while sitting down. "Hey when you done eating are we gonna go next door?" Josh questioned. "Ah, I see you made some friends, and yeah." I giggled. "Hey, I have friends." He chuckled.
After I was done eating, I went to my room grabbed my white converse and phone.
I slipped on my shoes and put my phone in my back pocket. I ran downstairs to get Josh who was on the couch watching t.v "Come on, Josh." I said. He turned off the t.v. and we walked out. When we reached the door I knocked and Ethan answered. "Hey!" I said smiling. "H-hi!" He replied. He gestured us to come in and we went to the basement. Jack and Grayson we're playing Call of duty, while Aaron watched. Josh ran to Aaron and jumped on him. I felt eyes on me and in the corner of my eye I seen Ethan staring at me. "You know you should take a picture it'll last longer." I said playfully while nudging his arm. He laughed and asked if I wanted anything to drink. "No I'm good, but thanks eth." I said. We both met each others gaze once agian. "I got lost in his eyes, his big, brown, beauti- wait what I'm I saying, he's never gonna like me in that way." I thought until I heard my name. "Chris!" Ethan said. "Oh sorry, yeah?" I asked. "Do you wanna sit down?" I nodded as I felt my face heat up. We walked to the daybed and sat down. After Grayson and Jack were done playing Ethan suggested a movie. Everyone else shrugged. "I'm gonna go get some snacks!" Jack said. Josh and Aaron followed. "Ya and I'm gonna go to the bathroom, so why don't you guys pick a movie." He said leaving me and Ethan alone. Ethan got up and walked over to the couch. He patted the seat next to him, so I got up and sat there. Ethan was scrolling through Netflix and found a scary movie. He looked at me to get my opinion. "I don't know Ethan, I'm not a big fan of scary movies." I said. "Don't worry, I'm right here!" He said laughing. I nudged his arm and sighed. "Fine!" As Grayson came out the bathroom, Jack, Aaron, and Josh came down with the snacks. "OK let's get this movie started!" Grayson shouted. I didn't like the fact that we were watching a scary movie, but I sucked it up and let out a sigh.
