Ethan's P.O.V.
"Ethan, Grayson, come here and help set up the table." I walked upstairs and set up one side of the table, while grayson set up the other. When we went back down Jack and Aaron were already changed. We heard the doorbell ring and all headed upstairs. My mother opened it and we seen Chris with her mother and father. As I walked over I stared at her. "Wow, you look nice!" "Thanks, not so bad yourself." She giggled.
We walked to the dinning room. I sat next to Jack and across from Chris. After we said grace we all dove in and ate. While eating Chris and I kept staring at each other. "So Chris, your mother tells me that you like to play softball." Me mom says. I looked at Chris and she said "Yea, I played in freshman year and I'm gonna do it again this year." "Oh, know that's really good for a college application!" "Yea, I'm gonna play all four years, so I could have a chance to get a scholarship!" My mom nodded her head and continued eating. Our parents continued talking about random things, while us teenagers did the same. After we were done eating Chris and her family walked to the front door. We all said our goodbyes, until I asked Chris if she wanted to come with me and the guys to beach tomorrow. She nodded and left. I walked to the basement with the guys and started to text chris.
Me: hey Chris I never told u wen to come over, so metlet us outside at 2:30
Chris: oh OK, can I bring Josh??
Me: yea it wouldn't be fun if he didn't come
Chris: lol OK c u tomorrow goodnight
Me: goodnight.

I woke up the morning at 12:45pm. I walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. As I walked out the bathroom I seen the guys watching a movie. I jumped on the couch next to grayson and watched.
An hour and a half later
It was around 2:10pm when the movie was over. We all got our stuff ready and changed. Grayson and Jack were putting the stuff in the car. I walked outside and seen Chris talking to Aaron. She was so beautiful with her loose grey crop top, high waisted shorts, black flip flops, and Beenie. She looked my way and waved. I waved back giving her a toothy smile. "Hey Ethan!" She shouted. "Hey Chris!" I said walking over to her. "Ok, let's go." Jack cheered as he got in the passenger seat. Josh called shotgun, so grayson sat next to Aaron and Chris sat next to me. I glanced over at Chris and she was staring out the window. I touched her hand and she turned to me and gasped. I gave her a week and she did the same. The whole car ride was filled with screaming teens singing song on the radio.
As we pulled up to the beach parking lot Aaron shouted "yassss let's get it." Everyone else laughed as we got out the car. We grabbed our stuff and found a spot. Chris looked at Josh and jumped on his back. "On word and upward" she yelled while point to the water. The sight of Chris laughing made me smile. After we set up our spot we all went to the water where Chris and Josh were. We all splashed each other until Arron tackled Jack into the water. We all laughed and joined in, everyone except Chris. She got out and sat on a blanket we lied down. I got out and sat next to her. "Hey what's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing, why do you ask!" She replied with a giggle. "You just got out the water." "Oh yea, I just wanted to get out and watch you guys tackle each other." It was silent for a minute, so I broke it. "Do you maybe wanna take an walk?" I looked at her and she said yes. We both got up and started walking down the beach. The next thing I knew our fingers were intertwined. I looked at her and smiled.
"Did anybody tell you how beautiful you looked." I chuckled. "No, but your the first." She muttered. After 30 minutes of talking we decided to head back. "Hop on!" I said bending down. Chris hoped on my back, wrapping her legs around my torso and her arms around my neck. When we got back I seen the guys sitting on the blanket. As we went towards them, Chris jumped of my back and walked the rest the way. When we got back Chris' phone was ringing. "I'll be back I'm gonna take this." She uttered. As she walked off Josh noticed a weird look on Chris' face. "Its probably her shitty ex, Kaleb." He said rolling his eyes. "What happened?" I said sitting down. "Well, he cheated on her and when she found out she dumped him, then he got together with the the girl he cheated with, he found out she cheated, dumped her and is trying to get back together with Chris."
"She's not gonna get back together with him, is she!" I shouted. "Dude, calm down she'll never get back together with him. I know Chris, she never gives anybody a second chance if they hurt her." He said. I sighed in relief. Chris walked back and shoved her phone in her back pocket. "Hey guys sorry about that. So what are we talking about!" She questioned. I looked at Josh and he shook his head slitly. "Nothing." Grayson said.
A few hours later we headed home. On the ride the song Rgf island played on the radio. We all sang along to it. Grayson pulled out his phone and recorded a snapchat. He caption it "with da squad". As we pulled into the driveway Josh suggested a swim in the pool. We all shrugged and said yes. "Yea actually guys, I'm gonna go home I don't really feel good, but I'll stop by later." We all said bye as Chris walked to her house. I wondered what was going on with her, but if she wanted she would tell me.
