"I'm not sure about this." I say wearily as we enter the Quidditch Training Pitch. Draco ignores me continuing towards the centre, I reach out resting my hand on his shoulder. "Draco, I'm serious. I'm tired." I whisper, suddenly insecure by the silence.

He shrugs my hand off, again ignoring me. I raise my leg, kicking the quaffle out from under his arm. "Hey, you git." I laugh as the quaffle hits the grass.

Draco chuckles as he turns to face me, he smiles. The smile meets his eyes, the colour of the moon, they show genuine amusement. Something I haven't seen come from him at all this year. "Now you've done it." He challenges, mounting his broom and raising into the air. "Pass me the quaffle." He calls down. I throw it towards him, which he catches with ease.

I get onto my broom, flying up to meet him. As I become within view of his facial expression I notice his eyes following me intently, I feel myself become apprehensive beneath his stare. I glance around me, noticing the gorgeous view of the castle. I bring my broom higher, intrigued, as I hadn't seen the castle at night like this before. "This is amazing." I gasp, in awe.

"It really is." He agrees, following me up higher. "However, we didn't come out here to gape at the castle." He points out. Draco nods towards me, confirming if I'm ready to begin. I hesitantly disconnect my hands from the broom, holding them out in front of me as a motion to receive the quaffle.

He tosses the quaffle towards me. The leather of the red ball grazes the tips of my fingers before falling heavily to the ground. "Bloody hell." I groan looking down into the darkness of where the ball landed. "I'll go grab it." I mumble, starting to descend towards the quaffle.

A distinct whistle of something familiar whipping through the air fills the silence, followed by Draco shouting my name. "Cassidy!" Before I can react, I feel a sharp pain in my right side. The force pushes me off my broom, my fingers detach causing me to freely fall. I plunge to the ground, knocking the wind out of me.

I find myself gasping for air as Draco scrabbles towards me. "Cassidy, please." He takes my limp hand in his, tightly squeezing it. "Please stay with me." He pleads once again, before my eyelids become too heavy to fight.

"Cassidy? You have to wake up now." Madame Pomfrey softly places her hand on my shoulder, shaking me awake.

"It hurts." I groan while keeping my eyes shut. "What happened?" I ask groggily, fully opening my eyes. The ceiling of the hospital wing comes into focus and I tense up briefly. "How did I get here?"

"The only answer I have for you is that Draco Malfoy brought you here." She grunts as she places a bin of medicine on the side table.

"Malfoy." I breathe, I wonder how he's handling all of this.

Madame Pomfrey quickly starts shuffling throughout the bin before pulling out a jar filled with black powder accompanied by an accomplished smile. "He unfortunately didn't say what happened to you, but I know the result was three broken ribs on your right side." She mumbles as she puts away the bin.

"What's that for?" I raise an eyebrow at the black powered filled jar. I attempt to sit up but am quickly taken over by the pain and go into a short state of shock. I freeze and my eyes widen as I don't know what to do. Madame Pomfrey rushes to my side and helps me return to lying down on my back, she gives me a questioning look and I return it with a tight lipped smile.

"It will close the wound to help prevent infections, but it will leave a scar. Luckily you won't suffer anything long term from the injury however." She explains as she adds some water to make it into a dark liquid. "You will also have to drink a bone mending potion as well. We seem to have ran out so I will get Professor Snape on that right away." She mutters and puts the dark liquid into a small vile.
