As I sit hunched over in the Vanishing Cabinet I have my eyes squeezed shut, once I decided to open them I found myself studying the dark wood that enclosed me. I inspect the cracks of the door, looking for any sort of lighting change, or indication that I have changed location.

"Hello?" I call out, figuring that if I haven't moved, Narcissa would answer.

There was Silence.

A frightening silence. I have entered Hogwarts, through a Vanishing Cabinet. Something I only learned of today. I press my hands flatly against the door, as it clicks open an involuntary gasp escapes my lips. As I reach out towards the darkness, it warps. The feeling of a satin fabric against my finger tips, I pull the cover back revealing the Room of Requirement. My eyes adjust to the dimly lit room as I replace the cover to how it was prior to my arrival.

I know that I need to find Draco, I just don't know what to say to him. Am I upset at him for hiding this from me, or that he accepted the mission. The mission to kill our Headmaster, the man who watched us grow up. Or am I ashamed that I said he would 'Never Understand.' He's had it worse this whole time, and he's just gone through it alone.

"Go to your Common Room. Quickly child, I sense something evil is afoot." A elder lady within a portrait whispers, her hoarse voice flooding the silence.

"Have you seen Draco Malfoy?" I ask, my voice unintentionally hushed as well. "He needs- I need him." I correct myself, unsure of if he needs me right now. I can't promise a joyful greeting.

"I think that's him, coming here now." She says, pointing down at the boy as he treks up the stairs.

I feel a smile tug at my lips, an action I quickly reject. While forcing a frown I pass through a nearby doorway, entering an abandoned classroom. Empty bookshelves, and stacked desks line the walls. The classroom feels eerie despite the large windows. The moon casts a soft glow onto the stone floors.

The door is swiftly opened and closed, a platinum haired boy slipping through. I swiftly kneel down, shielded by the professors desk. Draco presses himself against the door, the moonlight accentuating the glistening streaks beneath his eyes. With his eyes shut, he seemingly nurses his left wrist against his chest.

While I have the urge to call out to him, I find myself silent. It almost feels as if I'm tormenting myself. He hums a short tune to calm himself, his voice cracking as he gasps for air. As Draco finishes he takes in a sharp breath, and he opens the door, quickly shutting it behind him when he leaves.

He's just a boy.

I slam my side into the wooden door, pressing my ear against it. "Hagrid! Please tell me you're not sleeping!" I call out, faking an awkward laugh.

Fang whimpers at the opposing side of the door, he then barks harshly. "Fang, I'm here. It's okay it'll-" I cut myself off, sprinting around the edge of the hut to the other door.

As the lock clicks open, a sound in the distance catches my attention. Atop the hill, by the bridge, cloaked figures yell, and shout. 'Dumbledore is dead!' The Death-Eaters signature symbol hangs in the sky, casting a threatening darkness over Hogwarts.

"Fang." I sigh pushing the heavy door ajar allowing the cowering dog to escape. As I stand in the opened doorway of the Hut, My eyes wander to the Forbidden Forest as they near closer, their conversations becoming audible. However I don't hear Draco's voice at all.
