Screams echo in the waste land below patches of flames blazed as Vex flew atop her broom, looking down in horror with trembling eyes.

Thordak's roar echos over the valley snapping her from her horror, "No."

Thordak sets down, parching himself a top an uplifted stone. "You repay my leniency by attacking my throne? I shall turn you to ash." he declares and breathes flames once more.

Syldor's eyes widen watching as his men were incinerated to nothing by Throdak's flames. Allura and the others acted quickly as they shot the barrier behind, blocking the incoming flames.

"Get these men out of here!" she orders, keeping her concentration on the barrier.

Vox Machina fathers at the edge of the cliff, looking down at the burning flames. Kyria snarls to herself, glaring as she flexes her hands. "Thordak." snarling a deep growl. "Dis is bad." Grog spoke as Vax set down on the cliff.

"They came to help us. A-And now..." Keyleth mutters in horror, Vex lowers herself to the cliff. "They're being slaughtered." she spoke. Jason ran his hand over his hair, before gesturing his arm. "How did this even happen? There just no way." he starts.

"Thordak wasn't supposed to leave the eggs. We were gonna ambush him." Pike spoke as she locks eyes with Scanlan.

Thordak reels his head back breathing flames once more, incinerating the many elven warriors. Syldor halts his horse, looking up at the great dragon.

Before he was knocked right off his horse with an incoming fireball. He props himself up, looking at the battle around him before his eyes locked onto one of the wyrmlings burn a soldier to death.

"Dear gods." he mutters as other soldier charges and gets his head rip right off and smash into the wrymling's mouth.

Keyleth looks up at the others, "Well, we can't just stay here. We have to do something." she spoke, Vax frowns at the sight. "There's nothing we can do." he declares.

Kyria snaps her eyes up at the others, "We can't just let Thordak slaughter them." she spoke, the others just looked at her. "Kyria, we were taken off guard by this, We hand no idea--" Vex starts.

"But that shouldn't derail us from what we came here to do: Kill Thordak." she reminds the others. Vax shook his head looking back at the battle. "Kyria, we need a plan if we want a shot at Thordak." Pike reminds.

She scoffs turning away from the others. Pulling out her new dagger. "No. No more. No more planning. I'm done waiting." she states, stepping to the edge as she pulls out her dagger.

The others stiffen as she was just a breath from falling. "Kyria think this through." Vax warns. She flicks her eyes up at the growing flames. "Thought through." she answers and leans forward falling.

The others ran to the edge, watching as Kyria fell. She shot open her wings, letting the wind catch her and she flew out towards the battle. Jason cups over his mouth. "Kick his ass, babe!" he calls out to her.

Kyria lets out a call as she flew towards the battle. Vex frowns and shot a side-eye at him. He had no regrets. "Okay. Plan's down the crapper." Scanlan spoke as he steps at the edge.

"Anyone got another one?" he asks, looking at the others, Grog lets out a huff, rubbing his knuckle nervously. "Percy would know what to do." he spoke.

"The rest of those eggs are about to hatch." Vax warns making Grog and Keyleth turn to him. "I say we stick to the strategy-- get to the nest while the army holds off the front." he states, Jason blinks at his statement.
