TRIGGER WARNINGS! self-harm, panic attacks, and mental breakdown

You don't bother listening to your personal music after what happened, you just faffed around on the laptop or wrote things on Word Pad so that your head didn't explode with whatever was swarming around in your brain at the time.

You also kept a check on Alastor too, keeping an eye on his bandage as well as making sure he wasn't hot from all of the covers you've piled on top of him, including his mouth.

The weather had calmed down immensely at this point, nothing more than a light rain, and the storm had long passed, you think, it's been very hard to focus when the floor beneath your feet refuses to stop spinning. At one point you felt the world tip to the left so hard that you ended up clutching onto the bed and floor as if it would help.

You let out a big yawn that even your hand couldn't cover, dang that was a big one, you didn't realise you were this tired... oh who were you kidding of course you were so tired that you were practically dead on your feet, obviously your left over adrenaline had completely depleted and now you were running on fumes. No amount of snacks was going to help you this time.

Maybe, just maybe you could nap for a little bit, even with the annoying Jazz music playing in the background, the music would be just enough to keep you grounded in the waking world but not enough that you would pass out.

Could you even pass out to begin with? That was a thought for another time.

You non-gracefully dropped onto your makeshift bed (one terrible pillow with your most fluffy blanket), covered your face, and did your best effort to cat nap for as long as possible.

Hard flooring aside, you could immediately feel yourself start to float off into a half-dream state, a place you much prefer than the reality you existed in any way.

Except, the more you relaxed, the more darker everything seemed to look, was that green fog merging in with the black and brown colours?

You feel your whole body go limp and unable to move am I going through a sleep paralysis?

You scream when the floor disappears under you, plunging you into the void. You were going to feel that later.

For a moment you thought that you were underwater due to the floating sensation, it was really unsettling to be honest. When you realized that you could blink and look around, all you saw was the darkness, literally the void, no beacons of light that you would see behind your eyelids when you closed your eyes, it was just, one singular 'colour' with no form of light to be seen anywhere.

It was both comforting as it was concerning.

You don't have long to think about it though because you were hit with. Something. It wasn't physical, exactly, it didn't feel like someone decided to beat you with an inch of your life, the pain was directed mainly in the head and chest, where the heart rested. You recognise this feeling anywhere.

It was fear from getting caught by your bullies, the need to run to safety when their focus was completely on you, and many other things.

A cornered animal ready to fight to the death.

"If there's anyone here, I'm sorry for intruding" if not then you looked really stupid talking to yourself "I don't really know how I got here, I just, appeared"

Yeah, like the thing is going to believe that for a second. At least the pain had eased a little.

"So is this place your home? Love what you've done with the place"
