Chapter Six .

We pulled into a really nice restaurant on the beach . As we were walking to the doors , i felt him grab my hand . I looked at him before looking down at our hands . He locked our fingers together before opening the door . I thanked him as I walked in . He walked me to the small booth that had " reserved for Dolan . " on it . I sat down on one side , as he did the other . As he was ordering , I felt my eyes wander around his face . From his jawline to his lips . And from his lips to his hair . As I was staring at him , he looked up and caught me . we both laughed before beginning a conversation .

After dinner , we decided to walk the boardwalk . The sun was setting and the beach was becoming empty . I stopped walking and leaned on the wall that divided the sand and the sidewalk . Grayson soon realised I had stopped and came over to me . He wrapped his arms around my waist and watched the waves crash onto shore with me . " karlie , I know we just met and you may find this weird but I'm falling for you . Really hard . " he deeply but gently spoke . " would it be crazy if I felt the same way towards you ? " I asked . He flashed his amazing smile once again . I stared at him . My eyes , lost so deep in his . As he leaned in , I did too . He slowly let our lips connect . It was a short yet amazing kiss . It felt as if a bomb had just exploded . We both pulled away slowly as i lightly set my head on his chest .

" thank you so much for tonight Grayson . " I smiled , standing on my front porch . " I just hope we can do it again sometime . " he said . " I should probably get inside . Drive safe . Goodnight . " I said , placing a kiss on his lips . " goodnight . " he smiled , opening his arms . I hugged him so tight . I let go and stared at him again before walking in , shutting the door behind me . I slowly made my way up the stairs . I found Matt asleep on my bed with Lauren on the floor . I chuckled before washing my face off and brushing my teeth . I put my hair up in a pony before laying down . My phone beeped and I picked it up . " thank you for tonight karlie . It was such a great night . Sleep well . ❤️ " it read from Grayson . I smiled at the memories tonight held .

I woke up to the smell of bacon . I walked to the kitchen and saw Matthew cooking , shirtless . " Goodmorning . " I said , Walking up behind him . " how was your date ? " he asked , smirking . " it was amazing . Grayson is such an amazing guy . He's ... Different . " I spoke with a smile on my face . " that's great , I'm glad my Bestfriend is happy . But if he breaks your heart , I'm breaking his face . " he laughed . I laughed along and grabbed a plate . I took some of the done bacon and eggs as well . I put bread in the toaster and waited for it to be done . " can you make me some ? " Matt asked . " course . " I smiled , putting some in for him too . Mine finished first but I gave them to him . Within a few seconds the other two pieces were done . I put strawberry jelly on both of mine before starting to eat . " damn , I forgot about Lauren . " Matt laughed before getting up . A few minutes later , he came back with Lauren . She grabbed a plate and filled it up before taking a seat next to us at the table . " let's go to the mall . " she said as she took a bite of her bacon . Matthew and I agreed . after everyone finished breakfast , we got ready .
