SACRIFICES HAD TO BE MADE.
The monkie kid looks back at the girl who choose to stay behind.
- You really believe that you can be one, little girl? -
- I don't believe I can be one. I am already one in this moment. - She flicked her hand to quickly summon a spell, preparing to defend and/or attack her opponent. - And I won't easily go down without a fight. -
MK slightly frowned and with a sudden, electrifying motion, he swung his staff at her, catching her completely off guard.
Once she took the hit, he proceeds to take a handful of his hair to summon up the monkie clones. Quickly recovering from the attack, she swiftly rebounded from the assault, her every movement a graceful dance as she artfully evaded the relentless clones that threatened to overwhelm her. A flash of cyan beamed on the clones – forcing them to return back as the strands of hair they originally were.
- Tsk. - This time MK summoned up a huge sum of clones heading directly at Bai He. The poor girl tried to keep up with the numerous attacks sent her way. He was still at the offence whereas she stays in defence. She knew she had to change the roles soon and so she did. By giving herself distance between them, she was able to create an elegant, refined crossbow. Her eyes fleeted at the mass.
'There's 30 clones in total... Wait where is the real one?'
In a mild panic, she poured her heart into working the crossbow with each shot finding its mark as she struck down the clones that were attempting to surround her in a surprisingly precise manner.
'That's 16 down... where is he...hiding-'
Bai He narrowly avoided from making contact on the legendary staff. Her crossbow acted out as a shield, deflecting the staff back. Unfortunately, the sheer force of it caused her weapon to break and crumble. Taking another step back, she continues to assess the battle and remain to hold her ground.
Spell after spells, yet the evil MK persisted without stopping. It was only a matter of time before the girl hits her limit. And that goes the same for the other as his clones poofed from her increasing strength. At this point, they only needed a small opening for a K.O. – a slip up.
Nevertheless, Bai He upgraded to a sword akin to the dragon blade except it had a touch of her old parasitic foe's design. An ice crystallizes to a sharp blade, its handle made from bone, crowned with a haunting skull at the end. As much as she disliked the woman, she was grateful for having a hint of that magic in order to go against the not normal/usual MK.
Such creation sparked an interest to her opponent's eyes. - Cool magic you got there! Too bad you've used too much energy. You're not going to last long. -
- I could say the same for you! -
Suddenly Bai He's phone rang.
Bai He kissed her teeth when she almost took another hit due to that brief distraction. The monkie kid grinned at this. Victory was surely his to claim.
- Aren't you going to answer that? -
Ignoring what he had questioned and instead locked in on the real target. Seriously though, who was calling?
Finally, she was able to cast a spell which chains appeared from the ground to hold the evil MK.
- Checkmate. -
Chuckling at her statement, he asked her: - You play chess? –
- Sometimes... - She muttered as she pulled her phone out and accepted the call when it rang again.
- I believe you made a slight miscalculation Bai He -
The girl froze with eyes widening in shock. The caller had MK's voice, but the real one was in front of her... So how did-
Oh.
Turning around, she met one of MK's clones who held a phone and a strange object that looks like a lantern.
- Game over. -
Tried as she might to escape, there was no escaping it.
'I hoped the others succeed on finding that crystal globe.'
Then she was sucked inside the object.
- Took you long enough BK -
BK shrugged, - I'm here now aren't I? Plus, it wasn't quite easy to deal with the others you know... -
MK gave out a low hum, - you missed PK. -
- I know... -
- Let's go. -
