Aarohi stood in the opulent library of the Raghuvanshi Palace, her eyes pleading with Rajveer as she clutched a sheaf of papers in her hands.
"Please, bhai" she begged, her voice edged with desperation.
"I really want to do my internship abroad. It could be such a valuable opportunity."
Rajveer sat in a leather chair, his expression stern and unyielding. He leaned back in his seat, eyeing Aarohi coolly as she continued to plead her case.
"You know I can't allow you to go" he said firmly, his gaze never leaving her face.
"It's too dangerous for you to travel alone to a foreign country."
Aarohi's shoulders drooped in disappointment, and she let out a small sigh, trying to compose herself.
"But I've thought out all the details,I've found an excellent program, and I have a plan for where I'll stay. I can take care of myself, bhai. I'm not a child anymore." she protested.
"Yes, you are an adult now, but I'm your legal guardian. It is my job to protect you and keep you safe." Rajveer replied coolly.
"I appreciate your concern" she said, trying to keep her emotions in check.
"but I'm not asking for your permission to go hiking in the wilderness or something. I'm talking about furthering my education and gaining valuable experience in my field." Aarohi's face flushed with frustration.
"Padhaai yaha per bhi ho sakti hai!"
Aarohi's cheeks flushed with anger, and she opened her mouth to protest further, but Rajveer cut her off with a raised hand.
"No more arguments,You've had your say, and I've made up my mind. You're not going to that internship, and that's final." he said firmly.
After Aarohi had left the library, Rajveer remained seated in the leather chair by the fireplace, his mind racing as he thought through their conversation. He sighed deeply, resting his head on the table as the weight of responsibility and worry settled on his shoulders.
Rajveer tried to keep his emotions in check, but it was difficult not to feel the pang of regret and guilt that came with denying her request. He knew that Aarohi was a smart and capable young woman, but he couldn't shake the fear that something would happen to her if he let her go so far away from home.
As Rajveer sat there, lost in thought, he found himself growing tired. The events of the day had worn him out, and the warmth of the fire was lulling him into a sleepy state.
Rajveer's eyes began to droop, and he could feel himself dozing off. He tried to fight it, but the fatigue won out, and he slumped forward, his head resting on the table as he drifted off into a deep sleep.
Hours passed, and the fire died down to a pile of embers. The library was quiet, save for the occasional crackle of wood.
Rajveer slept on, his head still resting on the table, his breaths coming slow and even. His face was relaxed in slumber, devoid of the stern expression that usually seemed permanently etched onto it.

I quietly walked into the study, expecting to find my husband hard at work as usual. However, instead of a busy businessman, I found Rajveer ji asleep at his desk, his head resting on the table.
As I approached him, I couldn't help but notice how tired and worn out he looked, with deep shadows under his eyes. Despite his usual stern expression, he looked almost vulnerable in his sleep.
