Krunal shook his head, unable to accept Reyansh's words.

"This is not possible," he said, his tone sharp.

"I've checked the cameras myself. No one came inside or left the mansion. It doesn't make sense."

Krunal fidgeted uncomfortably, unable to meet Reyansh's gaze.

"I know it seems impossible," he replied.

"But I assure you, we've checked every inch of the house and surrounding area. There's no sign of an intruder."

Reyansh clenched his jaw, his annoyance growing.

"This mansion is surrounded by dense forest on all sides," he said, frustration creeping into his voice.

"There's no way someone could have gotten in or out without us noticing. And yet, my wife was attacked in broad daylight. Make it make sense." Reyansh sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. Krunal was right, of course. The security measures in place were top-notch, and it was difficult to believe that someone had managed to slip past them unnoticed. But the fact remained that Vedika had been attacked, and they needed to find out how it happened and who was responsible.

Krunal watched as a sudden wave of anger washed over Reyansh, his expression hardening.

"Don't mind me, but don't you think she's making it up again yaad hai jab college?" he began, only to be interrupted by a sharp reply from Reyansh.

"No, she's not making it up," he said, his voice tight with suppressed emotion.

"NOT NOW!!, NOT EVER!!. I won't let you speak ill of her like that."

Krunal looked taken aback by the intensity of Reyansh's reaction, clearly having touched a nerve. Reyansh paused for a moment, wrestling with his emotions before continuing.

"She didn't lie about anything back then. And she's not lying now. You don't know her like I do." he said, his voice low but forceful. With that, he turned and left the room, leaving Krunal standing there, shocked and puzzled by his sudden outburst. Clearly, there was more to this story than he had realized, and Reyansh was not willing to entertain any doubts about Vedika's integrity.

Reyansh entered the room slowly, a troubled expression on his face. He walked over to the bed where Vedika was sleeping and sat down beside her, watching her closely.

Vedika stirred, her eyes fluttering open as she slowly became aware of her surroundings. She saw Reyansh sitting next to her, a look of concern etched on his face.

"Tum thik ho?" he said softly, reaching out to touch her arm.

Vedika sat up, rubbing her eyes sleepily. "I'm okay, just a bit tired." she mumbled, her voice still groggy from sleep.

"Reyansh"

"Hm?"

"Hum india wapas kab jayenge? I don't feel good here mai ghar jana chahti hu. Yeha gutan se ho rahe hai mujhe."

"Bahut jald, abhi tum kuch khalo hm"

As he talked to Vedika, he felt a growing sense of determination. He knew that he had to return to India, if not for himself then for her. She was still in danger, and he needed to be there to protect her.

Despite being at a fancy dinner date, Ishani and Ayan remained distant and awkward, barely even glancing at each other. The reason for their discomfort was clear: the reading incident still hung heavy in the air, making them both feel a mixture of embarrassment and self-consciousness.
