Angel's P.O.V -

''Powers? What powers?'' I finally asked after a few moments of silence as the family stared at me along with Sasha and Philip. ''Every vampire or super natural person has powers,sweetheart'' John spoke with a little bit of anger in his voice,but I knew it wasn't to me. ''Did you not tell her?'' Catherine asked as she crossed her arms across her chest along with John doing the same movement,both there eyebrows raising. ''um.. No'' Ethan mumbled as he scratched his head nervously. ''Stupid boy''

Ethan seemed a little sad at what his dad called him. ''Well, sweetheart, you have powers'' John added, ''I kinda realised that by now..'' I said with a smirk on my face, John chuckled, and Catherine smiled. ''So what are her powers?'' Sasha spoke for the first time. ''Well.. Normally it's your vision improves back to 20/20, hearing is improved, and you can sense danger. Reflexes are better as well.'' John explained, the powers seemed pretty cool. ''But how come that if vampires are post to have 20/20 vision, i can't see without my glasses then?'' I asked to no one in particular. Anyone that can answer actually.

''Well, you believe that you have bad vision, but you won't after your powers kick in, has anything happened to see that doesn't normally happen?'' Catherina asked, I quickly looked towards Sasha, and she had the same look as me. ''Er yeah.. my eyes turn full on black during class when I got angry..'' I admitted, keeping my eyes on the floor.

''Don't be shy, that normally happens to vampires when they feel threatened or are in danger'' Catherine added a smile afterwards. ''So, your powers have kicked in, well your hearing should be improving to a non-human way, so will vision soon.'' John said as he stood up straight towering all of us, and put his hands behind his back polity.

I nodded my head,and bit my lip. ''Also, you will need to learn how to use your reflexes, so come follow me'' Catherine added, as she walked somewhere out of view, I followed her quickly,and heard footsteps behind me, I guess everyone was following as well. We were soon outside in the back garden. John started to walk more out in the huge garden,filled with green short grass, he walked over to a little shed in the corner of the garden,and pulled out two big blue mats that you use for probably gymnastics, he picked them up easily and walked to wards the middle of the garden,and placed them on the ground, both placed together in a line,that made the mats make a big square.

A hand was placed on my back,and where the hand was, was tingling, I looked towards Ethan, and saw he was slightly pushing me into the middle where John was walking back to the rest. ''I'll put the lights on,it's getting pretty dark out here'' Philip said and soon his footsteps were heard,and bright lights from each side of the garden were on,and shining the middle of the big garden,making it light up,and look like it just turning morning.

Once I was in the middle, the family including Sasha and Philip walked a little closer. ''Philip will be helping you today, so basically he will attack you, but he won't really hurt you and just see what you would normally do if someone was about to attack'' Catherine spoke, and I looked towards Philip, and he nodded slightly with a smile on.

''Ok'' I finally said,and I was on the matt and Philip took of his shoes,revealing his black socks, I did the same,and showed my ankle socks. He got in front of me. I looked towards Sasha,and she looked a little worried. I smiled at her,and she seemed to give a smile back that had little happiness in it.

''Go'' John shouted but softly, and all of a sudden I was on the floor, with Philip in between my legs,and a sudden pain in my back. I groaned in pain. ''What the.. how did you get on top of me?'' I said as I tried to push Philip off, I heard a growl,and I knew that growl belonged to Ethan. Philip winked and got up, and lending his hand for me to take, I took it and he pulled me up easily. ''You were too slow'' Ethan spoke with clenched teeth,obviously not liking the idea that I was hurt,and a different guy was in between my legs.

''You need to focus, think in your mind that you want to attack an enemy a person that hurts you physically and mentally, a person who you have had enough of, a Peron that you want to hurt..'' John says slowly,and at the end of what he said, Catherine slapped his chest hard, and he slowly rubbed where she hit him,and he bent down to her level,and whispered something in her ear,and she soon giggled like a school girl. 'Ew' I thought, I didn't even want to know what he said.

''Okay, save it for the bedroom please'' Ethan eyed them in disgust,as he turned his head sideways to not look at the view, Philip burst into laughing all of the sudden,and so did Sasha. 

Once everyone calm down, John finally spoke up ''Ready?'' I nodded my head, and ''go'' and thats when we both lounged at each other, but Philip was going for my legs to pull them, but I kicked his hands away, then quicker then noise, he was right infront of me,and pulled my legs forwards,making me land on my back. I groaned. But I got up quickly, rubbing my back, I quickly got into a confident fighting position,  Philip just stood there and watched me, obviously waiting for me to  get used to what just happened.

When it was least expected, Philip disappeared in fin air.. ''Erm..'' I spoke as I looked around the garden, he wasn't there. ''Boo'' A familiar spoke behind me, I screamed at the top of lung, span around and kick the person right where the sun don't shine. Philip quickly grabbed onto his crotch,and got onto his knees,groaning, and soon was onto his back, bending his knees slightly, his eyes were tightly closed. ''That has gotta hurt..'' John said,and his scrunched up his face as if he was the one in pain. Ethan nodded in agreement.

I bent down to his level,and poked his chest. He opened his eyes,and looked up at me.''I'm so sorry.. I just got scared'' I admitted as I helped him a little bit,not that it helped, he was bigger then me,and because of the pain he was leaning all his weight on me. I used all my strength to hold him up. Soon John was by his other side, and had a packet of ice in his hand,and passed it to Philip, he grabbed it,and put it on his trousers crotch area. I heard a girly laugh, and saw Sasha was biting her lip from trying to not laugh. 

Slowly Philip pushed himself from my side and John helped him walk over to a wooden bench on the side, Philip sat down and John said a few words to him, and then Philip said loud enough for everyone to hear ''I don't think i'll be able to have children now'' 

I gave him a sad smile, I didn't want to see anybody hurt, but I knew that the pain would go sooner then later.

''Sorry'' I mouthed to him, he gave me a smile and a nod to show that he accept my apology. Thank god..

''Remind me to never sneak up on you..'' Ethan said out of the blue, we all erupted into laughter. ''Well, it looks like your powers are kicking in, and you don't need this anymore'' John said as he walked up to me,and took off my glasses, my vision went a little blury, but I blinked a few times,and my eyesight was perfect. I gasped at the change,and looked around the garden, I could see properly. Then I heard a crunching noise, and looked towards the noise,and saw the noise was my glasses were being crushed by John's big hand.

I smiled at him. He returned it back. I was still surprised, ''Your still my nerd though'' Sasha spoke behind me, I turned around and she met me with a hug. I hugged her back. Everything was changing.. but it was a good change.
