                                              ETHAN'S P.O.V -

A pain in my hear woke me up from my nap I threw myself up into a sitting position on to my chest, rubbing it roughly. I was breathing heavily as another hit int he heart happened, it felt as if I was being stabbed or even.. hurt by my own soul mate.

''Son, will you come in here please!'' My dad shouted from downstairs, I recognised that he was in the living room with my mum. I rushed down stairs, wondering what he wanted to talk to me about. I jumped the last two steps, like a kid.

Once I was in front of my parents, they looked at me whilst smiling brightly, i furrowed my eyebrows at there happiness. One thing I know for sure is that vampire parents aren't that happy..

''We would like to talk to you about soul mates'' My mum said at the same time she grabbed on to my dad's hand, and holding onto it tightly. I nodded my head as I sat down on the couch, my dad brought two wooden chairs in front of me, so that I could see both of my parents fully. ''So...'' I trailed off, not knowing what to say.

''We wanted to tell you stuff about soul mates'' I nodded my head for my dad to continue. ''Son, once you meet your soul mate you will fall deeply in love like I did with your mother.'' He smile brightly at my mum, showing off his white pearly teeth. His eye's filled with love and admiration. I almost had an 'aw' moment but then I realised that would be just weird.

I cleared my throat once I saw they were both leaning in to kiss each other.  They both snapped out of the 'moment' and continued what they were actually saying. ''As we were saying, you will want to spend to eternity with her, father her children -'' I cut off my mum by groaning. ''Yes I know mum, you've told me this before. Is there a reason for this conversation?'' I asked as I raised an eyebrow at her.

''Yes, we wanted to tell you that if you ever get cheated on.. which YOU WONT!'' My mum rushed out waving her hands around in front of her, to prove her point. I just blinked at waiting for her to finish, but instead my dad continue.''You will get this pain in your heart, and only this pain will tell you that your soul mate has hurt you and betrayed you meaning that she has kissed or touched another man in a sexua-'' My mum slapped my dad's chest. ''He's only 14! Don't talk about that stuff!'' She hit him over the head, and my dad rubbed the painful spot on his head as he groaned. He never liked it when she hit him.

''But he's a boy! He needs to know it now.'' My father complained. Even though I already knew what 'sexual' meant. They didn't know that I've already had my first kiss. But I won't be telling them that any time soon..

''As I was saying'' My dad said through clenched teeth once my mum hit him over the head again, I had to bit my bottom lip from laughing at the scene. 

''You will get a pain in your heart as if you were just stabbed, it's the worst pain you will probably feel because your hurting mentally and physically.''

I gasped loudly once another pain was in my chest, it was getting worse and worse and then suddenly it stopped, in less then seconds. Completely gone as if nothing ever happened, sweat had formed on my forehead and face, I wiped it away with my backhand and stared at the sweat in shock.
