Max pov

I sighed as I watched Ella leave with the Nick Wolf guy. 'Why does he need her for?' I thought to myself as I glared at his back.

I stayed where we were sitting at so she can meet me back at this spot.

~20 mins later ~

I look up to see Ella coming back with a weird look on her face. "Ella you there?" I asked.

"oh yea sorry where you talking to me?" She asked me after I spoke to her.

I sighed "yes and why did THE Nick Wolf want to talk to you about?"

"You know how there's werewolf's that go to this school right?" She paused as waiting for my answer.

"Yeah what about it? And how does that involve you and Nick?" I asked.

"Well, Nick is a were and well I'm his mate," Ella said softly.

"You got to be kidding! You're a witch and he's a were! How do you know that your mates!?" I yelled at her with a stormy expression on my face.

She took a deep breath in and told me everything. About the clearing, her spell, the pull that She felt towards the black wolf, and about the wolf running away.

"Wow, so you were making a spell for your mums birthday?" I asked softly and She nodded in response.

"But what about Nick? Are you gonna be his mate or reject him?" I asked softly.

"I told him that we needed to get to know each other and see if we can really be mates if not one of us had to reject the other and live our lives from there," She said softly rubbing her forehead.

"Oh well I think that's a good idea than jumping into this whole mate thing blind," I said with a soft smile.

"Yeah your right and thanks for being here for me Max," She said while She hugged my arm.

"No problem Ella you know I'm here for you," I said as I gave her a heart melting smile. She smirks at me.

As we walked into class my last thought was 'Damn you Nick Wolf you're taking my best friend from me and the girl I been in love with since she and I were kids!'

A/n

Sorry for the short chapter I haven't been feeling good and I been babysitting but anyways this chapter was for Max and what was going through him when he found out that Ella and Nick are mates.

And when imtaa is all done and everything it's gonna going to be edited to fix any mistakes. I think I might redo the whole story so it's in a better light.
