Chapter 4
"How is sparring supposed to help us kill titans!?" Sora asked no one in particular. Violet just shrugged at the question. "Come on let's spar!" Sora said to her friend. The girls both stood in position ready to start. Violet made the first moved, she started to run towards Sora. But Sora blocked and moved her leg in front of Violet and it made her trip and fall flat on her face. "I'm sorry!!" Sora said and ran to help her friend up. "It's okay." Violet said rising to her feet again. The girls both got in position again. This time Sora made the move. She tried to hit Violet, but was too slow, Violet ended up grabbing Sora's wist and flipped her face first on the ground. "I'm so sorry!!" Violet said coming to the aid of her friend. "It's okay!" Sora said and smiled "It's just pay back for what I did."
Violet watched as Sora went to spar with Armin, and she wandered over to Bertholdt. "Wanna spar?" Violet asked quietly looking at the wooden dagger in her hand. "Sure." Bertholdt replied, giving Violet a small smile. Violet gave Bertholdt the dagger and got in her stance. She lunged towards Bertholdt and tried to snatch the dagger out of his hand, but he elbowed her in the stomach and kept the dagger out of reach. After catching her breath, she jumped towards Bertholdt again, catching him off guard and kicking him in the stomach and grabbing the dagger out of his hand. "You won!" Bertholdt said to Violet giving her a small smile. "Yea." Violet replied quietly as she wandered back over to Sora who was with Armin, who was sitting on the ground, apologizing profusely to him, pulling him to his feet.

"I'm still sorry about hurting you!!" Sora said and gave her brother a hug. "It's okay." Armin said hugging Sora. "Okay!" Sora started after the hug. "Graduation is about to begin!" She said "what are the both of you going to join!?" She asked pointing to Armin and Violet. "The Survey Corps!" They both answered together. "Good answer!!" Sora said and smiled "that's what I'm going to join too!" Sora started walking expecting her friends to follow her, when they didn't Sora turned around and yelled "come on if you don't want to be late!!" Armin and Violet both ran towards Sora and followed her to the ceremony.
At the ceremony, everyone stood perfectly in line. The recruits were given a speech and then we're told who were in the top ten. Sora ended up being number two, as she stood proudly, with her head held high, Violet stood with Armin in the crowd of other recruits. "Yay Sora!!" Both Armin and Violet yelled, pumping their fists up in the air. Sirs turned and gave them a peace sign, her face lightening up with a cheeky grin. "She will do amazing in the Survey Corps." Armin said, looking over to Violet, a smile barely noticeable on his face. "Correction. We ALL will do amazing in the survey corps." Violet said staring at the top ten soldiers, a gleam of pride evident in her eyes. "This was a great experience."
